    INJURIES FOR L.A.

    Questionable:
    Shaquille O'Neal (Calf)

    Will Not Play:
Horace Grant - Family issues; listed as doubtful
Kobe Bryant (Sprained shoulder): Out 2-3 Weeks
Karl Malone (Sprained knee): Out 2-3 Weeks
Rick Fox (Foot): Out 1-2 more weeks

    KEYS TO THE GAME
The Lakers need to fight fire with fire. Meaning, get back to their quick game, with Payton penetrating and dishing to open shooters. Get Devean George involved early, because when he builds up confidence, he plays well. We also need bigman production and defense off the bench...

    PREDICTION
I choose Lakers by 5. Sampson now has started, and Medvedenko is instant offense. Payton sets up George, who finally breaks out of a slump, and Fisher brings some experience and shooting off the bench.

Lakers down just 1 at the half after mounting a nice comeback.
    Here are some random stats:

-Cook has 7 points off the bench in limited minutes.
-Payton could be well on his way to a triple dubb (5 pts, 5 rebs, 7 asts.)
-Slava with his usual high scoring numbers, 10 at half!
-Young one Jamal Sampson with 6 rebounds at the half.

Thanks for covering up for the preview MDE, I'm slacking on those, been busy lately"cough cough"(NFL STREET).

This was a big win for the Lakers tonight. I felt that we could have beat the Clips the first time around, but we were able to make up for it tonight. Slava showing against that he is a very underrated player and will put big numbers up on you. Despite Brand having a monster game, which was expected, the Lakers role players picked up their play.

To get off topic about the game, I'm very excited about the future Laker frontcourt. Slava/Cook are going to be nasty, along with Rush who played very well on Friday.

It was a delicious game after a slow start by the Lakers. Slava found his shot and GP was dishing the ball to open shooters. Even Jamal Sampson had 9 points and 10 rebounds!

i was just so happy when i saw on the net that they were so much behind in the first quarters and then got up by so many. Amazing, i always said. Without Kobe, Malone and SHaq we still work! Last time with Kobe we lost didnt we? Thats the Lakers I love, a real team! And the Glove was just excellent!
