I?m from Spain, and I like very much Raul Lopez. I haven?t seen many games of the Utah Jazz, and I don?t know how do people see him. How good can he become?
He can become very good...he's the main reason why Arroyo is expendable...Lopez has an easy ability to penetrate and dish...he can shoot and finish well, but his main asset is that he can create well for others, which Jerry Sloan craves...
He's done well coming off a whole season injured. Arroyo defintely should be starting, but Lopez has quickly become the Jazz's 6th man and is capable of starting . He's a textbook point guard, and reminds me of Stockton. They're both undersized, both don't look like NBA point guards but the both get the job done and go home. He isn't the most flashy, but the Utah coaches really like him. Arroyo may be traded some time in the future, if Utah are sure that Lopez can start night in, night out and they have a good back up PG. This season it wont happen, Utah will wait and see how Arroyo and Lopez develop. Which should be very good to watch.
Lopez is a prick I tell ya, lol. He just never stops attacking, on either end of the court. He drives and loves to shoot it. Stud.
Lopez has the ability to be one of the best Europlayers in the league. What he needs to work on is his scoring. He can be the next Stockdog with the smarts to know when to make the extra pass and when to take the scoring load onto his own shoulders. Regrading Arroyo's trade possibility, the Jazz would trade him only for a scorer or a low-post power.
Love the guy. First of all he is super quick. He drive through two big men, no problem. He plays with alot of heart and hustle. I personally like him better than Arroyo
