<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Just when it seemed Portland was prepared to make the most anticipated move of the NBA's trading season by dealing Rasheed Wallace away, Blazers owner Paul Allen -- not Dallas counterpart Mark Cuban -- had the biggest influence on Saturday's trade talks between the clubs. Sources close to the discussions told ESPN.com that, at Allen's insistence, the Trail Blazers suddenly prefer to keep Wallace.</div>

I also read that the trade will include Tariq Abdul Wahad and Antawn Jamsion, I know Wallace will provide good defensive presence for the Mavericks, but what will the line up look like if this trade goes down?

    PG - Nash
    SG - Finley
    SF - Dirk
    PF - Walker
    C - Wallace

    Trade talks simmering?
All seems relatively quiet on the trade front recently, as the New York Post's Peter Vecsey says the Hawks and Blazers are no closer to finalizing a deal that would send Rasheed Wallace to Atlanta for Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Chris Crawford. Vecsey writes a deal with Dallas could still happen:
My feeling is, Portland is delaying things a tinge in hopes the Mavericks come across with Antoine Walker (and more) vs. Antawn Jamison, Tony Delk and Eduardo Najera.

It could still happen ... [IMG]
