Game Thread : Raptors @ New York I'm sorry I couldn't write the usual preview cus I just got home an hour ago... ! The first quarter is over and the Raptors are up by 6 ... 22-16 ! Donyell , Mason Jr, Jalen , Alvin , and Bosh played great in the first quarter .. good defence and agressive offence .. stay tune .. I'll keep you updated midway throught the second quarter ... and we're up 31-29 .. Roger Jr is so active and playing extremely good for his minutes .. Lamond didn't see any minute in this game .. Chris is playing very well .. Raps are wearing the red unis First half is over ... we're down by 4 .. 40-36 ( Houston Three buzzer beater ) ... Raps are jaking up shots .. and rarely drive .. again .. Jalen has to make better descions than passing the ball across the court when there is only 1 second remaining on the shot clock .. hopefully he'll have an excelent second half ... Bosh playing well at both ends ... samething could be said about Jr. D Marsh is doing good on defence but ain't that effective on offence due to his shot selection .. ! Raps are shooting 39% .. while the Knickbokers are shooting 42% ! .. second half to start ,, I'll put down updated scores and infos ! 52-52 midway through the 3rd .. great run by Raps .. Bosh has 3 blks at the end of 3rd... Raps down 61-66 ! Starbury is being the great point guard he is .. PERIOD ! Big Bosh has 4 blocks .. Turnovers have to be limited 68-77 Knicks with the lead .. 5:09 4th quarter .. Turnovers are klling the Raps ! game over .. 90-79 Knicks win .. it's so depressing .. so manyyyyyyyy turnovers .. I didnt' watch the whole game but 6 turnovers from Jalen says a lot. By looking at the scoreboard, Bosh and Marshall were probably the best players on the team today.... Bosh - 7/12 18 pnts 8 brds 4 blcks 3 assts Marshall - 9/19 21 pnts 15 rbnds!! 1 blck 2 assts And yes...Marbury KILLED the Raps today with 28 pnts and 14 assists!!!! ouch*

I know they got real good players, but still I can'T believe Raptors still don't know how to win. Basketball is not only about stars! It's about a team. Jus a lil depressed thats all.
I can't stand the losing, it seems that every time we take a step foward, we take another step back. The Raptors have a very talented team but they still need to put it all together and play consistently. If they do, it could be scary but if they don't....well the last two games sums it up. And can GG please waive or trade Lamond Murray? Watching him take ill advised shots and play grade school defence making me sick to my stomach. It doesn't even look like he's trying.
Look at the standings on nba.com, the raptors aren't the only ones with inconsistancies people. I hate the fact that they can win 2 or 3, and then loose another 3 but I cant see the raptors as a team that can perform multiple winning streaks with there current roster. I wish they can be a better team, but I'm also realistic.
thank God Milwaukee isn't taking advantage of our horrible losses. They lost to Orlando today, so we're still only 2 wins behind them.
Yeah, we just have to get into the playoffs,as well to give Carter more chance to prove any of his doubters wrong!
Well what u expect? Knicks are in their "honeymoon" period. Marbury, Mutombo, Thomas, Van Horn, Houston, they dont have any garbage on their team. If they dont make it to the top of the conference, they are crap.. nuff said. It pisses me off the way the knicks think they are so good now, they havent beaten any hard teams yet with their players, so what makes em think they're so good? You remember the string of 5 consecutive wins Toronto had when they first got Jalen and Donyell? Well its just like the knicks, and we weren't only beating crap teams like they are now. We'll see...

But I am saying the Knicks have really good players on their team now. So I am also saying that those 4 wins they have now doesnt prove anything. So what if they just beat Orlando, Chicago, Seattle, and Toronto without Vince. More than half the league can beat those teams. And i dont think Marbury deserves Player of the Week for that. C'mon who cant' beat Orlando?! Maybe like 2 teams in total, and Chicago, gimme a break thats a giveaway W. So I'm saying tho that the knicks majority team has better than just roleplayers, but they should have been expected to beat those teams.. cuz if they didnt, they would just really really suck, and u dont need Lenny for wins over those teams either. AND its just the honeymoon period. When we got Jalen and Donyell, ppl kept saying from beginning, yes its honeymoon period so teh NBA rankings didnt raise us by much. BUT, now that the knicks have won 4 against inferior teams than ones we beat on our honeymoon period, the NBA rankings put them way above us and no one says anything about honeymoon .. cuz trust me, their string of losses will come soon. I'm probably a bit biased of them cuz Isiah didnt do anything for Toronto when he was here, and they take Lenny too, which I would rather Lenny than KO, because Lenny cant be held responsible for last year
