<div class="quote_poster">Quoting K Bomber:</div><div class="quote_post">Vince Carter = All about Vince He's not about the fans. He's not about his team. Vince Carter is about the gratification of his own ego through shoe deals and a max contract He's our guy and he's a great talent, but he isn't and, I think, never will be a champion because he doesn't want it enough. He's a creature of comfort and the whole Raptors organization is too scared of him taking his ball and going home to say' "We expect more of you" He'll fill score sheets and amaze, but the league is full of guys who can throw numbers at the wall. Right now VC is in Jerry Stackhouse and Shareef Abdur-Rahim's world of doing enough to look great but, ultimately, missing a key component called "Heart" Bash away.........</div> Haha, you can't be serious, ur describing him exactly opposite of how he is. I know you're just saying whatever. Hahha jokes
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AllNet:</div><div class="quote_post">Overrated Every season all we hear is "VC will be back" "The old Carter is a superstar" blah blah blah He gets injuried, doesn't perform As Barkley said Half man-half a season</div> every season eh? how about 2 seaons. it was said beginning of last season, and beginning of this season. thats twice by my count. i dont think they said it his first, second or third season, considering he missed a total of 7 games in that span. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMac_OwNz:</div><div class="quote_post"> I hate bosh </div> thats because you know nothing about him or basketball. why do you even post here?
Arch???? hmmmmmmmm. I think he?s great; his effort on trying to guard Shaquille O'Neal was tremendous! (Note I said trying because who can guard Shaquille O'Neal? he?s too tough! though I thought Arch had a good effort)

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting K Bomber:</div><div class="quote_post">Actually, I'm dead serious..................</div> naa no way ur jus joking. ah well, can be looked at in many ways i guess. We lose alot cuz Carter tries to get the team involved too much. Either that or Jalen commits the turnover.. in any case, im sure many many teams in the US would pursue Carter if he left, and he would be way more dominant. I really think teams arent good enough as one superstar anymore, they need at least 2-3 now to even compete, Carter cant do it on his own, would u rather him leave? He could very well go to the Bulls and they'd be a better team overall than the Raps. Or even Clippers or sth.. Really though u cant be serious, u expect him to dominate while the other teams have way more? In that case you expect him to achieve more than Iverson and McGrady, cuz they are lower than our team, and they have also just one superstar. U cant win with just one.. to ask him to have more of that passion when he doesnt get respect from the refs when he drives, constantly gettin smacked all over and havin his teammates play like crap besides Donyell and Bosh, is gonna send him to his grave. It is obvious to other teams that Carter always has the ball, and he doesnt keep shooting it like a fool, u notice how hes not settling for his jumpshot and constantly passes the ball alot or drives. Even the analysts comments that he doesnt shoot the ball enough, and he should actually fill up the stats sheet more to get a better rep, but hes proven that he cares more about the team than his ego all the time. Or else he'd just keep shooting the ball and doing no passing, and we hardly ever get blown out, evident with detroit and lakers, if u give it to someone else, they will miss for sure in the clutch..

First off, relative to other teams having more than the Raptors, Toronto has the 11th highest payroll in the NBA. It wasn't that long ago that Jalen Rose was considered an elite performer in the league. Donyell Marshall is more than just solid and Chris Bosh is a legitimate ROY candidate. It's not like Vince doesn't have some pieces to play with, there's talent on that team Vince, to this day, still does not defend with anything even remotely passing for passion. As a guy who is still probably one of the most gifted athletes, let alone basketball players, in the league, the very least you should be able to expect is some commitment and attention to his responsibilities on the defensive end. That he has been one of the biggest matadors in his career should be a source of shame for him Relative to the offensive end, Vince is also a mixed bag. Last night he played the way he should be playing every night and lookie-lookie, 30+ points, 6 boards, a couple of assists & blocked shots and throw in a steal He can do that every night if he wants to. The problem is he doesn't The galling part about Vince Carter isn't what he does. Is about how much more he is capable of when he applies himself. When so motivated, I'll tell with complete faith, the man can be a top five talent in the league, regardless of who you put around him Vince is happy with throwing up great stats and a couple of highlight plays a night, and that's all well and good, but he is capable of more. You've said so yourself Vince doesn't yet understand, or refuses to accept, that he is The Man when it comes to the Purple Pack. He needs to compete with the same level of energy every night if he wants to be feted with the mantle of greatness. It shouldn't be about picking 5 - 10 nights a year to really bring it and leaving the rest of the season as mail-ins, even if mailing it in means 18-22 points a night. That level of play is beneath someone of his physical talents The only reason that the Raptors have even considered bringing Charles Oakley back is that Oak was one of the few guys who scared VC enough to elicit inspired performances out of him consistently. Great players shouldn't need to be externally motivated and Vince can't find his own inspiration to compete nightly on his own. What does that tell you? I love the guy's ability, but he's stay-puft soft............
I don't think of Moiso any less or more than I did from the start of the season. Not once did i doubt his abilities, even when he did struggle out on the court, because i knew that he wasn't comfortable out there trying to impress the coach and the team with the limited minutes he was receiving. Now that he can get comfortable on the court, he's proven to be a very talented player who goes up strong to the rim and plays with a great passion.

Crazy. I never knew he was so athletic. I love that fake pass he did against the Magic and goin up for a layup wit lil twist, that was slick.

i thought jalen was just being lazy cuz he had something against chicago, which i didn't wanna believe since he seemed liek such a cool player... but now that he isn't playing well in toronto either... then it makes me feel better

Who?s he? I knew how he looked like, but I didn?t know if he was a good player, so I was looking through some old box scores of Chicago, and I saw that Donyell didn?t get that much minutes and he didn?t score that much either, so I thought, o well another mistake from Glen (not that I know any others) but after the first game he played, I was like yup, I was wrong, he's a great player! So now that he?s in T.O. I think more ppl are recognizing him because he?s playing much better, and I thought it was great when he was one of them who could have made it to the all-star, unfortunately, he didn?t got chosen to go, lets just wrap this up and say im GLADDDDDDDDD Donyell is playing for us! Oh, and I?m glad Chicago is happy with JYD, Antoino, and Chris, because T.O. sure is happy with the trade! (Although I still miss JYD!)
i miss rose and marshall on the bulls. marshall was always so calm all the time... and seemed like a really nice, professional guy. rose was just cool... who cares if he said that the bulls are the worst team... i still love you, jalen!!! (as a player)... does jalen still get the crowd going in toronto like he did in chicago where he raises his arms up in the air?.. or whatever motion he does... <div align="center"></div> i've never seen him so happy... hehe.
