    Eric Snow : Opinions

What are your opinions on Eric Snow this year? I think he's been playing horrible compared to last year. He's been non-existant for what it seems for most of the year. Maybe it's just me. What do you guys think?

If you look at his statistics between the two season, he hasn't worsened a lot really. He has dropped around two points, but now averages more assists because of it. I think that's what the whole team is trying to focus on now, more assists, it's what Allen is doing as well.

I think what people are mistaking about him is that he has made some bad decisions this year as opposed to last season, where he didn't. Though he is under more pressure this season, he has probably been asked to deliver and lead even more, and anyone would break under that.

He's been taking alot of clutch shots lately. I can remember last year thinking how he was a great free throw shooter in clutch situations... this year, I think much differently. If is a game is winding down, there's no way in hell that I want Eric Snow to have the ball.

Who would you want having the ball, he has a great shot, or did, his free throw line spot up jump shots were classics in the past 2-3 years? Allen right now is way off, and in no way should he take the shot. Glenn, I wouldn't know, I've never really followed much of Glenn's play until he came here to Philly.

I'd rather have Allen take the shot over Eric. If we're down 3 (like we were the other night) at the end of the game, I'd want Korver or McKie (if they're in the game) to take the shot rather than Snow, like he did the other night.

But then again, I'm not so sure if I'd want us to have another point guard taking Snow's spot.... ie: John Salmons.

Eric Snow is an underrated player. He's the perfect fit for Iverson and he controls the offence well for the sixers. He can't shoot threes but he does everything else pretty well.

I hate to break in on your debate but me personally I love Eric Snow's game. He doesnt turn the ball over alot. He has an excellent mid range shot. He can guard any point guard & lot of 2 guards. Which doesnt allow teams to create miss matches against the smaller AI. I think he is the perfect backcourt mate to Iverson. Alot things Eric Snow brings to the 6ers doesnt show up on the stat sheet.

Eric Snow is much like Hal Greer, one of the Sixer greats. He didn't get much recognition in the NBA, partly because of Jerry's and Wilt's being in the NBA at the time, but also because he was a shy/quiet type of player and person, much like Eric.

Eric resembles his shot as well, as Hal is said to be the greatest midrange shooter ever in the game.

Let's just hope he doesn't get dealt dirty like the Sixers organization did to Greer.
