I really can't stand his lack of effort, he looks like he is going at 20 mph while everyone is doing 90. He takes very bad(contested) shots out of the team flow and plays HORRIBLE HORRIBLE defence. I don't even know what the Raptors can get for his value because his stock has dropped bigtime. I wouldn't mind him if I thought he was a hard working player but he comes in with little or no effort and he still takes shots he shouldn't. I want to write a petition to the Raptors to stop playing him altogether
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting eginobili20:</div><div class="quote_post">you mean with orlando? or with which team?</div> are you sure you're a raptor fan? don't know whos on your team?
I used to be a silent Lamond fan, since he could come in, rebound decently for a 3, and put up some good points. I always saw him as a final cog in a competing starting lineup, someone who you didn't have to depend on but who could get the job done without handling the ball much while also being able to create his shot. I think that his injuries over the past year have really sapped him, and that right now you're watching a shadow of Lamond Murray, and not the real thing. Even his last year in Cleveland, he was solid, so its really a pity what's become of him.
I thought he'd be decent and was the victim of circumstance, but from watching him, Lamond Murray is the worst kind of pro, a paycheck player. The guy only has one goal and that's to get as many offensive stats as he can so that he can stay aboard the gravy train Watch him on defence, he doesn't care if his man scores 200 points on him, as long as he can find a way to about 12 - 14 ppg he knows that he'll have a place in the league Here's hoping the Raptors can find themselves a nice and unprepared GM to play let's make a deal with. If you could even get a half decent big man with a pulse you would make Lamond Murray's brutal stay in TO worthwhile Small wonder LM has always "looked" like the best player on bad teams........
couldnt agree more...he bitches and moans that hes not given minutes, and when he comes in, he takes horrible shots, misses 90% of them, and is a SIV defensivly. a good player would come in after riding the pine and give good minutes, not good excuses as to why they didnt produce. hes a liability to the team, and a sour presence in the locker room because of his immature media antics. if i were the GM, and didnt manage to trade him by the deadline, id waive him. hes easily our worst player
I don't know what the Raptors can get for him. After coming back from his injury his stock has dropped with some terrible non-chalant play. If we could get Anderson that would be amazing, but the Knicks are smarter than that.

Murray has a lot of skill but is too much of an one-dimensional player. He lacks the intensity to excel and can't play a lick of defense. The injury has really sapped him. GG is trying hard to trade him but who'd take him? I think the Raps might try to deal him in a package to Portland for Sheed by the end of this month.

I like the idea of dealing with Atlanta. Maybe we can get Theo Ratliff? How about Lamond Murray, Mosio, and Eric Montross's contract for Theo, does that work? How much is Theo salary? Maybe get Theo and Jason Terry for Morris Peterson, Lamond Murray, Mosio, and palacio? Then we get a centre + a PG-SG.

That deal that's been mentioned is a horrible one for the Barneys if they make it Murray has to return some kind of size to help out down low. Based on his comments, I'm not sure that the Oak Man is that excited about coming back to Toronto, so I don't know that you can bank on that one bringing relief Doesn't there have to be a goofy GM who thinks that Murray can be a peice of his teams puzzle somewhere out there? Where's Scott Layden when you need him........
