How about Brent Barry to the Bay Area? He would be a perfect fit for the Warriors. A non-selfish veteran PG, who can shoot very good from the outside and distribute the ball very well. Something like him is what the Warriors need.

Imagine how much love he would get from the Warrior fans?!? Rick was a basketball god in the 70's up north, I think it would be a great move.
All this talk about going to the Clippers or Golden State in this thread, I doubt he'd leave Seattle to go to another team on the same level. A contender or Denver would be the two options he'll consider seriously.
You're probably right on that Des, just wishful thinking from all of us with sub .500 teams. He could be a key ingredient in making a team like the Clipps or Warriors much better though, the Sonics really don't have a spot for him now that Flip has proven himself and Ray and AD are in the mix.

You're right though, there isn't a team in the NBA that wouldn't jump at the chance to sign Brent Barry, he will be heavily sought after if Seattle don't cash in on his trade value. I think now could be the time to trade Brent. Antonio Daniels has been fantastic of late, and he seems to have a real connection with ray both on and off the court.
