In your opinion, who is the most versatile player in the NBA? When I say versatile, i'm talking about a player that can do everything and play any position from PF to PG. I'd have to go with KG, Odom, LeBron, T-Mac. KG is definitely at the top of the list though.
1. KG 2. Kidd 3. AK47 These three are stat monsters each and every night. It shows that they're versatile enough to contribute in almost all aspects of the game.
Garnett, he can do everything Jason Kidd is a player who makes everyone around him better, he gets assits, pts, and boards, what more do you want from a player? AK47 is also another good one, Rebounds, Blocks, Pts, Assists... LeBron is one also, playing the PG in a SF body.
I'm surprised no one mentioned Duncan, but through my eyes, KG, Duncan and Kidd, they revolutionized the game in the sense they are capable of doing most things if not everything, not that KG and TD are much on three pointers, that's not needed, nor are TD's free throws. Going further in versatility, there's some consistency to be considered, all three seem to be efficient most, if not all the time.
1. KG 2. Kidd 3. Lebron Dirk would be one of the most versatile if he could play some sort of defence.. well.. he is leading the mavs in blocks this season . On offense, he IS the most versatile player in the league.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mr_Infante:</div><div class="quote_post">Jalen Rose and Lamar Odom.</div> Can you explain Jalen Rose? Just because he plays the point...if you want that then Mike Miller is versatile, he played the point when both PGs for Memphis went down this week.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mr_Infante:</div><div class="quote_post">Jalen Rose and Lamar Odom.</div> Lamar Odom isn't versitile...he's a 6'10'' guard...he has no post game, he has no off-hand, and he can't defend a single position decently from 1 thru 5... Right now, I think Kobe, Garnett, and T-mac (probably some other guys i left out) are the most versitile... those guys can defend at least three different positions...
Lamar Odom, LeBron James, Jason Kidd, Kevin Garnett, and T-Mac. I'm sure there are many more, but I can't think of anybody else right now.
I really don't think it is a question. It's going to be Garnett. Garnett can play pretty much any postition, and definately guard it. Dirk is another one that comes to mind, but Garnett is head and shoulders above him in the versatility department.
antoine walker is pretty versatile im suprised nobody has mentioned him but kg is the most versatile in the game today
