Any word on Bennett's knee injury? Is he recovering fast or slow? Last I heard he was out for week 1, and will be questionable for week 2.
I think everything is on schedule. I would expect him to maybe play a little or not at all in week 2, split the snaps 50/50 in week three, and start in week 5 after the bye.
GOD DAMMITT Now I hate bennett heres to hoping griffin stays healthy cus he is now starting over bennett. i was hoping he would be fine for week two because then the injury wouldn't have been that bad but if they take that long with him "to be safe" he'll probably just get hurt again cus he is made of absolute glass. Who do you call when your wind shield is busted? call 1-800-54-GIANT Pass this on to Coach Tice please. they'll come to you today!
When the Vikings have three quality backs and a fourth back who has shown some very good potential, why not baby Bennett a little bit (except for all the FF owners who are getting the shaft). Fact is, Smith can run the ball well...he is actually a better pure back than Bennett, just not the home run threat that Bennett brings. And if Bennett has a hurt knee, it will slow him down. He needs his speed to succeed (no rhyme intended)
