The sixers can't seem to get things going. What do you think the problem is. Does Glenn need more shots in the 4th quarter? Is Allen Iverson the same player since the knee injury?(he looks sluggish) Does Coach Ayers need to stick strictly to an 8 man rotation and not worr about givin PT to the players who have been playing all year and have not been injured. I only ask becasue if you look at the east standings today(january 21) the sixers wouyld not make the playoffs if the season ended today.

I think Iverson, if he's not shooting well/making shots, should try to give others an opportunity. I think Kyle needs more shots. The other night, he was continuously open and rarely was he given the ball. John Salmons needs to stop taking shots. He's playing horrible. Samuel Dalembert needs to go to the hoop more. Iverson needs to go to the hoop more. DC should retire. Eric Snow needs to stop taking clutch shots. Aaron McKie needs to get his shot back.

Marc Jackson and Willie Green should be back in a week or two. Thank God.

Another question: Do you think Randy Ayers coaching has anything to do with their horrible playing? Take a look at Detroit. Anyone really missing Larry Brown now? *Raises hand*

The absence of Allen really hurt us a lot, we lost games during his absence,a nd have continued onto now. Though I don't think he is the problem as was during his absence, right now I think it's mainly Derrick Coleman. The past two years he has suffered so much, and caused us so many games, with his 5 point defecit in his points, and just overall bad play, including a very poor defense. Lately though, it seems as if he is getting worse and worse, the past two games he scored 2 points!

Gleen does not need any more shots, he is carrying this team on his back, giving it all he has every game, while others just sit around.

    kvh4fan,
i can't really judge randy ayers yet just becasue he really hasent had a full lineup all season, once we get into march and april i think we will have a better idea. But in the long term i really think we will miss larry

I think it's our lineup, the Sixers don't have enough strength or girth to contend with the big men of the league only AI tries that. Plus AI has been turnoving quite alot as of late. We need more superstars, let's face, another Snow, like Mobley for example would be good for us. Also we should get rid of that lazy good for nothing, Derrick Coleman.

who do you think we should get? we obviously need more big men. kenny thomas is pretty undersized, but with a solid big man it should make up for that lack of size. I do think the dalembert will eventually grow into a solid center/shot blocker, but we still need an inside presence for right now. i would like to see someone like Swift from memphis, another athletic and strong big man right now. i can't see the sixers parting with snow like ive heard because he is one of the best defensive players in the league and he dosent turn the ball over. plus he is the heart of the team along with AI and aaron. But they definatly need to make a move this year to not only go far in the playoffs, but even just make them

Sammy and Kenny are the only good big men (in my opinion) on the team. I know everyone would love to see Theo Ratliff back but who knows about that one. There isn't really any quality guys that I can think of that the Sixers' can pick up without a trade.

IM starting to think its AI. Well im not balmming anything on him. But I think that knee injury is one of the first step that will be the downfall of his carrer. Remeber he's 28 and he going to be 29 this year. So I dont know... Well since he came back from the injury this is a WHOLE new AI. But for the worse. Tomorrow might be like his 11th or 10th game back since the injury. And Im pretty sure he aint so rusty anymore. Im not sure but. In order for the Sixers to win they need the AI before the injury.

Iverson PPG in Last 4 games before Injury:

    50 Points
    35 Points
    35 Points
    35 Points

Since he came back he hasnt even gone beyond the 35 point mark. He just had to 30+ games. 31 against Dallas in Double OT. If it was the AI before the injury...He would have most likely scored like 40-45 points. And he had 34 points against Memphis. Thats was his best offensive performace since his injury. But enough about AI. Sixers need to star winning now. Next game is against Magic. So they should win. After that they take on Cavs. That should be another easy win. And then Nets, which I think they will win that one also. Since the Nets have problems defeating Philly in the last 2 seasons. And already lost to Philly this season.
