<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Darius Miles received another wake-up call: He got traded to Portland. Miles, who was fined by the Cavaliers for oversleeping and skipping a practice earlier this week, was dealt Wednesday to the Trail Blazers for point guard Jeff McInnis and center Ruben Boumtje Boumtje. Miles has been a disappointment in his 1? seasons with Cleveland, which acquired him before last season in a deal that sent guard Andre Miller to the Los Angeles Clippers. The 22-year-old Miles, who jumped straight from high school to the NBA in 2000, was averaging 8.9 points in 24 minutes per game. He has shown breathtaking flashes of skill, but has been plagued by inconsistency, and first-year Cleveland coach Paul Silas was reluctant to play him. Miles will get a fresh start with the disappointing Blazers, who might not be done turning over their roster.</div> Full Story

decent trade, i dont think the cavs are done trading. if the cavs wanna get better thn they need a better point guard though. also ipredict the cavs will trade illgauskis, however u spell his damn name. cavs give up miles which has the potential to be a star in this league if he works on his jump shot. an the cavs get a average to a lil bit above average point guard and a scrub that will b usd like bruno. im kinda dissapointed i hte to see miles leave. but the cavs wanna see jaes move to sf and have someone else move the ball up the floor.
I like this trade. I like Jeff McInnis a lot. I think either Ollie/Z, or Bremer/Z are going to get sent packing next.
Darius was a BUST. 3rd pick? Strait out of high school? And 3 years later and he still plays like hes out at Rucker Park. I love DMiles, he can finish the break and gave us exciting plays. But statisticly his numbers aren't impressive since his career here in the NBA.

He got another wakeup call? He shoulda woke his ass up to make practice the other day. This trade involving Miles was no suprise. He's been on the trading block for... forever, and they got a decent point guard in his place. Now, LeBron can finally move up to SG or SF, too.
No, i don't speak english. Do you??? "do yoos speeka ani ingleesh"? <----- Mr. Infante anyways, the new guys we just got wont play till saturday. jeff makes 3,600,000 and is a free agent after the 04/05 season
Jeff McInnis will help us big time. He gives us.. Another ball handler; Huge, now James can slide over to the 2/3 positions during the ball game and be more aggressive of the offensive end. Jeff also has a mid range game and can penetrate as well as finish and set up for someone else. He runs the floor and should be a very nice fit with LeBron James. For what ever reason, it was not working out in Portland. Jeff's last season as a Clipper he put up 14.6 points and 6.2 assists, very nice. Cleveland may be a better fit for him with our running style (Helps having that James guy too) I don't feel too bad about this deal to tell ya the truth, get get another player that has been in the league for a while, which is a plus. Miles, like Ricky, I just got a little impatient with, got tired of defending. Those cats have all the talent in the world, but don't have what it takes mentally. Sometimes it's just best to say goodbye.
You are the weakest link. Goodbye. And who is this James guy you're talking about? I heard he was a ball boy, or something...
This helps the Cavs a lot, like KJ said, Jeff Mcinnis is a nice mid-range shooter, and will help at the point guard spot a ton. I've liked him since his Clipper days, and always thought he was a decent guard with good scoring ability. He even played SG for the Blazers for a while this season. It was about time the Cavs shipped Miles, I hate to see him go to a team like the Blazers, I at least want to see him start somewhere, but business is business. Unless their making room for him for Portland to trade Sheed, but all those deals seem off.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mr_Infante:</div><div class="quote_post">Now who the hell is LeBron going to throw ally oops to? HImself?</div> The backboard is there for a reason. ;D
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">So in a sense, this is Andre Miller for Jeff McInnis We sure bit the bullet on that one.</div> Not at all KJ,if it wasn't for that trade I'm postive you wouldn't of got Lebron James. So the trade was indeed a good one.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AllNet:</div><div class="quote_post">Not at all KJ,if it wasn't for that trade I'm postive you wouldn't of got Lebron James. So the trade was indeed a good one.</div> Would have been more of a stretch last year to get him as we would have been a little better with Miller, Davis, Miles, Boozer, and Z. Better yes, but much better, still doubt it, who knows how the balls would have fallen.
but what's up with the center we got ruben boomshe boomshe lol what do u think of his addition he is a big 7 footer.
Andre wasn't happy in Cleveland, he wanted to be in a better situation. He wasn't happy in L.A either which therefore made him have a poor season wth the Clippers. He is in a good situation at last with Denver, while having a great season. You play better basketball in a place you want to be in.That just wasn't the case in Cleveland.
