<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Crossover:</div><div class="quote_post">Are you kidding? A broken finger is going to set him out? Although, after I broke my thumb I waited for about a week to two weeks or so, then took the little brace thing off and started playing. Two weeks max should be all he needs!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Crossover:</div><div class="quote_post">Are you kidding? A broken finger is going to set him out? And obviously if PJ said, "it doesn't look good for him", than it's probably not your regular broken finger either.

Your're joking. Theo Ratliff played most of the season with a broken right ring finger and didn't complain to anyone. The pinky, even on your shooting hand, is useless so for an injury so minor to put them out for more than one game is ridiculous. It's not like he's taking a regularity of 20 footers.
Darn not another Laker....this is getting terrible. The Lakers are losing virtually anyone capable of offensive capabilities. If this keeps up, the Lakers might not even have a 5 to play and begin a game with, let alone 7 or so, for substitution purposes.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting OgShowtime:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah, I think we need to go A-Team on him and spike his drink like they used to do to B.A. </div> lol, an 80's reference...I betcha only a hand full of ppl in here actually got that I pretty much agree with everyone. Shaq needs to try to play...you would think Kobe's comments before the season would've lit a fire in Shaq, but guess not.. ALSO, LAKERS CANNOT SIGN ANYONE UNLESS THEY RELEASE SOMEONE WHO IS ALREADY ON THE SQUAD. THey are up to the max with 15 players....
When will the injuries end? It was killing me when they are getting pounced on by Dallas....I just hope they get everyone healthy in time to make a run for first place in the west, nothing is certain anymore, everyone is playing for position and the Lakers need their main boys in there

Nice to Shaq steps up when the team really needs him.

Now that is embarrasing. j/k Yeah, I totally agree that sprained/broken fingers hurt. I remember two years ago, I sprained my right thumb and I couldn't even hold a basketball without it hurting pretty bad.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Big Nasty:</div><div class="quote_post">Give Shaq a loaded Big Mac and a loaded Nestle Crunch bar.. lol</div> That's an even better idea. Pretty cheesy now - but very cool when you're just kid. Like many of you, I have also had some pretty bad injuries to my digits while playing ball. For me it can really be a killer because I handle, and shoot the ball quite a bit. A pinkie injury is minor if it's on the off-hand, but when it's on your primary shooting hand it can be just as bothersome as an injury to the index finger. I think he'll likely miss 2-3 weeks, hopefully no more.

But this is a pinky finger, which shouldn't have much effect on a player, anyway. But I've played with broken fingers plenty of times, myself. Fox is coming back tonight?
