<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The Toronto Raptors try to win at the Bradley Center for the third straight time when they face the red-hot Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.

The Raptors had lost 12 of their first 14 road games against the Bucks before winning both visits to the Bradley Center last season. The teams split four meetings last season, but Milwaukee got the upper hand in the opener of the 2003-04 series.

Toronto has dropped five of its last seven overall games after Wednesday's 108-97 home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Donyell Marshall scored 22 points and Milt Palacio added a season-high 18 for the Raptors, who have lost three in a row since star guard Vince Carter suffered a sprained right quadriceps. Carter is listed as questionable for Friday. </div>

    ...

    Keys To The Game :

    * Bench Scoring .. with Moe pete moved to the starting line up , Milt, Jr., Lonny and even Lamond if called have to provide offensive and definsive power ! .. the Bucks have one of the best benches in the league

    * Low turnovers ! .. If Jalen and Moe keep turning the ball over like the last couple of games , we're going to see many Mason highlite dunks !

    * Get the ball inside .. Bucks don't have dominant big men, so work the ball inside and play inside out offence

    * Contain Redd ..( Obvious ) !

    ...

    AC's Take :

This game is going to be a close one , if Raptors follow the keys I mentioned above, they can get the win, otherwise, forget it!

Yeah...if Carter doesn't play today, i'll probably only watch the 4th quarter. Still...it's always exciting to watch Redd and Des. Did you see Mason's dunk on the Magic the other night??? SICK!!!!!

    Half Time .. Raptors down by 8 ( 41-49 ) ..

Vince is playing and doesn't look 100% or near .. but he's doing a good job at drawing double team and passing the ball ..

Raps are just not putting the effort definsivley and letting the Bucks shoot 48% from the floor .. which is horrible !

.. Bosh is playing good on the Raps with 8 ,3 ..

Brian Skinner has 10 points, 7 rebounds and Desmond Mason has 13 points !

    .. we're getting killed on the glass 25-19 ..

Second half is about to start

I never expected the Raptors to win, but their effort was awful. First off I'd like to say Vince shouldn't have played, he was no where near 100%, he literally played on one leg. He ran gingerly and was shooting off-balance and never really put full pressure on his right leg, I'm hoping next game he plays he'll be 100% so we can atleast benefit from his scoring.

We've all seen what the Raptors can do when they play with effort, they're a very good team, but today like many of their other losses, they seemed slugish and it looked like they didn't even care.

The Bucks absolutely dominated points in the paint, rebounding, bench points, and overall effort. The Hi-Low feeds killed them which was a big reason for the huge gap for points in the paint (right now I'm not sure what the exact numbers were).

The leading scorer for the Raptors was Donyell Marshall; the only Raptor who seems to be consistent lately had 17 points, Jalen Rose contributed with 15 points, 6 assists, and Bosh added 14 points.

    I've added the Recap:

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MILWAUKEE 98, TORONTO 86

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The Milwaukee Bucks continue to make the Bradley Center a house of horrors for visitors.

Desmond Mason scored 20 points to lead five players in double figures as the Bucks cruised to a 98-86 victory over the slumping Toronto Raptors, their 12th win in their last 13 home games.

One of the biggest surprises of the NBA season, Milwaukee is 17-5 at home.

Mason made 12-of-14 free throws, leading a strong performance from the line. The Bucks sank 24-of-29 foul shots. </div>

I wouldn't consider Rose very consistent, hes on and off every game, I was refering to Marshall.

jesus, some of you should take your names out of the 'raptor fan roll call' thread. how can you call yourselfs raptor fans then say stupid things like "if vince doesnt play i probably wont watch the game" or "if no vince ill only watch the 4th quarter". you people arent raptor fans, dont even TRY to front.

missed the game, cuz i was out of town with my girl, but raptors need a serious team meeting. these half-assed efforts are going to send us out of playoff contention and maybe worse. i hope we can turn things around soon

I couldn't have said it any better myself.

I was just thinking that. They have to address some serious issues and get some things worked out. I hope they initiate it and don't have some stupid newspaper call them out to do it, then it will look forced.

Desmond Mason had to spectular dunks in that game. You can't just let someone do that and then allow him to beat you other ways, too.

And Donyell Marshall is the most consistent scorer, but he didn't put up his usual rebounding numbers yesterday.

Well actually, I might post here more often Kid Canada because people seem to have good sense here(Unlike the barrage of youngn's polluting the RealGmBoards these days :thumbsdow ) Hopefully this place will evolve to being a famous board because peole can actually discuss Raptors basketball intelligently here, and be realistic with our aspirations for the team.
