Yeah. He wants to comeback this year, but I'm against him coming back. I'd rather him just rest it and get in complete health, since we're not going anywhere this year.
Really, the team isn't going to be much better no matter who they draft this summer. The facts: Grant Hill most likely won't play next year, or any year after that. We should just forget about him, and if he plays it will be a pleasant surprise. Tracy really can't handle the point; he wants to score too much. So he's gotta be either the 2 or 3. Either Juwan Howard or Drew Gooden will be gone by next year. They both play the 4, the team wanted to experiment, and the experiment failed. Don't count on the Magic signing any big name (or even medium namel) free agents this summer. It might happen, but don't count on it. After this season, very few players are going to want to come to Orlando to watch the Tracy McGrady show, and Orlando has so much money tied up in guys like Tracy and Grant that they really won't have decent money to offer. And if they do use what they have, assuming they get rid of Howard, they'll be short on cash when it comes time to re-sign Gooden and Giricek, who are coveted by several teams if they can get the right price. And finally, no rookie in the upcoming draft is going to be a Bron or Melo, an instant impact guy who turns a team around. Okafor, Deng and maybe one or two others might be Wadish, putting up solid numbers, but you can't depend on that turning into wins. So in short, expect next year to be another rebuilding phase which results, at best, in a low seed in the playoffs, and at worst, another high lottery pick.
