What's the worst call you've ever seen in a game. With no doubt it's the call I just saw 10 minutes ago, when they called a Offensive Foul on Chauncey Billups.

First off, the game didnt carry the impact of playoff games. The worst called game had the Wolves on the recieving end, about 4 times against the Lakers playoff series last year. Game 3.
Well, this was the worst call I have ever seen against the Pistons. purehoops, you edited the posts in the Pistons thread so edit your post here, Billups made the shot. Sure, the game doesn't reflect the playoffs, but it does effect confidence and pride....and power rankings. Myself, I almost dislocated my shoulders hitting my punching bag after this loss. It is a heartbreaker because the refs killed the game.
Actually, the worst call I ever saw was that Baron Davis buzzer beater against the Magic that was obviously good, and was waived off...the league had to apoligize for that one, and impliment a rule change the next year
Worst nonplayoff call went against the Spurs in the first meeting of this season at the SBC center on Manu's career night while Duncan was out. Only a few seconds left, and Kobe not only gets away with 3 HUGE steps, but got the basket and the free throw to count for him.

billups didnt get fouled...but he didnt foul either..it shouldve been 2 points and nothing else. talking about magic and hornets how about that no call when tmac got hammered going to the basket?

Worst call ever? Tonights was bad, but hardly the worst. The worst? '98 playoffs, Eastern Conference Finals, Reggie Miller shoving Jordan to the ground to get open for a shot, which he hits. It was a non-call rather than a call, but still a huge refereeing mistake.
I think its too hard to define the worst call ever. There have been some bad ones but refs are human and they do make mistakes. Sometimes they even go as far as making "make up calls" if they missed an obvious one. I don't have a worse call, however any time Shaq puts the ball on the ground and doesn't called for a travel is usually a bad call on the ref's part.
Yeah they are mainly NO CALLS... such as when Jordan pushed Bryon Russell to get open and hit his "final shot" to win the Championship over Utah. The Suns/Spurs game tonight was a joke as well... they gave the Spurs the win.
The worst call ever with no doubt, even though I liked it at the time, was in game 6 of the the 98 finals between the Bulls and the Jazz when the refs didn't count Eisley's three and also when they counted Harper's desperation two, aside from Jordan's shove
I'm glad everyone kept their biased opinions about how their teams got screwed out of this thread. I have to slightly agree with PH though, that Wolves/Lakers series was horribly officiated.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm glad everyone kept their biased opinions about how their teams got screwed out of this thread. </div> Lol, I'll admit it. I hated Miller's move, but I've always thought of the pushoff against Russell to be an artfully deft maneuver. :biggrin2:
The Wolves have had 2 calls go their way this week that were absolutely pathetic. The KG travel And this "offensive foul" on Billups. Terrible.
