Good win for the Cavaliers. Boozer continues to dominate the glass, and the team is learning to win without LeBron, so when he returns, they'll be even better. Good job by Wagner and Williams to step up, as well. As for Philly, Iverson and Robinson can't get it done alone.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Eric Williams scored 20 points, Dajuan Wagner added 17 and the Cleveland Cavaliers finally slowed down Allen Iverson in the fourth quarter for a 95-87 win Saturday night over the Philadelphia 76ers. Carlos Boozer had 15 points and 15 rebounds as the Cavs improved to 2-1 without rookie star LeBron James, who missed his third straight game with a sprained right ankle. Iverson scored 32 points -- 21 in the third -- but the NBA's leading scorer didn't get his first points of the fourth until there was just 33.8 seconds left. Before that basket, Iverson missed his three attempts in the period while being guarded by both Wagner and Jeff McInnis, playing his first game for Cleveland. McInnis only had practiced once with the Cavs, who acquired him Wednesday in a trade with Portland for Darius Miles. But he started and finished with nine points and six assists in 35 minutes.</div> Full Story Box Score

You know, outside of Allan Houston, the Knicks do the same thing with Starbury... And to think, I was wondering how they lost to the Heat tonight.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Boy, you are doing a good job is displaying your knowledge Keep this up and I won't have to watch Chris Rock later, I would have already had my laughs of the day.</div> Reality bruh !!!
Yo, i noticed every time the majority of ppl on this board say the cavs will lose they end up winning. CoInCiDeNcE
I almost vomitted when I saw Amal McCaskill was starting. The Sixers played terrible tonight. So terrible that I fell asleep. I woke up once and heard, "Allen Iverson's got it going on with 30 points and the Sixers' are down 9." Then I passed out again. And thank God I did. I didn't wanna sit through that mess. Kyle Korver... 8 minutes?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kvh4fan:</div><div class="quote_post">Kyle Korver... 8 minutes? </div> He's almost a liability down the stretch, despite his shooting. Doesn't play any defense, and can't create his own shot. Anyway great win the by the Cavs, I just watched my Sonics clean up the season series with the Clippers and my buddy KJ's Cavs have done the same thing - what a truly great day for basketball But seriously, just watching some highlights, it's clear to me how much Williams and McInnis are helping/will help this team. I know Williams was brought in as much as cap relief after this season as for his leadership, but the Cavs may be forced to re-sign him if he keeps this act up.

It would have been nice to see maybe 13 minutes.
What a great 6th man D-Wag is going to be. He did it one more time for the Cavs tonight. Hopefully his offense stays consistant within the rest of the season. Glad to see the rust finally starting to brush away. Great win Cavs.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Kosarkas:</div><div class="quote_post">Reality bruh !!!</div> The Cavs are more than 2? months ahead of their pace last year. We are 3-0 vs. Phili, 2-0 vs. Seattle, plus we have beat some of the other good teams in this league too. Things are changing in Cleveland, you can take that to the bank.
A perfect elixir for Cavs <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Hurting 76ers get no sympathy at Gund Arena. McInnis' debut a success The Cavaliers were in no mood to hand out sympathy. After playing for a week without large chunks of their roster due to injury and circumstance, seeing the Philadelphia 76ers limp into Gund Arena Saturday was good medicine. Thus, the Cavaliers took out their aggression early and then hung on for a 95-87 win, their third in their past four games. The injury-plagued Sixers lost starters Kenny Thomas and Derrick Coleman in Friday night's home loss to the Orlando Magic and arrived on the North Shore with a 1-10 record in the second game of back-to-backs. These facts were not lost on the Cavaliers (15-28) beforehand and they took the court with the accelerator pressed. Led by the high energy of new point guard Jeff McInnis, who made his first appearance since being acquired in a trade on Wednesday, the Cavaliers zipped to a huge lead out of the gate. They led by a dozen after the first quarter and pushed it to 20 points in the second. ``They didn't really have a lot of their people but I didn't really care,'' said Cavaliers coach Paul Silas, who missed LeBron James for a third consecutive game and was also missing Tony Battie. ``We wanted to run and get some easy hoops.''</div> Full Story
Great game, Boozer, McInnis, Wagner and some other did their job good tonight! 3rd win against Philadelphia 76ers this season if I'm right
