McInnis is not as good as Miller.... but who cares? He is a MUCH better contributor to this team then Darius Miles was. Plus he is coming off back to back double doubles!
We have other , more pressing needs to concern ourselves with!! For right now, McInness will do just fine........Besides...He's cheap!
We better keep Jeff, unless we plan on getting one of those stud PG's in the draft...not going to happen now with the way the Cavs are playing, but the FA PG crop is ugly over the next few years.
The thing with McInnis is that he can definitely score if he needs to; his mid-range shot is highly underrated. Can't say the same for Miller.
Yeah Jeff has showed off his running one handed floater type shot, it looks really difficult, but he sinks them on a regular basis.
Nice Article of Jeff!!! <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">CLEVELAND (AP) -- Although he and the other starters had been excused a little early from practice Thursday, Jeff McInnis wanted to stay around to watch the Cavaliers' reserves scrimmage. As his teammates ran up and down the floor inside Gund Arena, McInnis watched while excitedly bouncing a ball and hollering encouragement. ``Nice, Juanny!'' McInnis yelled when Dajuan Wagner nailed a 3-pointer. McInnis passed out a few more compliments over the next few minutes. Ever the point guard, McInnis couldn't help himself. ``I like this team and I like the guys,'' said McInnis, whose arrival in a trade from Portland in January has helped transform the Cavaliers into playoff contenders. ``Just being here has been so refreshing. It has made me excited about playing basketball again.'' </div> http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ap-c...ov=ap&type=lgns Good to see a veteran who can play happy to be here! Picking up his option is as a no-brainer as selecting James for Paxson!
really enough cannot be said of mcinnis's impact on this team, he's been absolutely great on and off the court
