<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BigEasyShorty:</div><div class="quote_post">I picked this guy to break out more this season, and he's showing he's definitely capable of it.</div>He is definately maturing before our eyes. He has been the key to the Warriors success this season. If he plays well, the Warriors play well. In those games where he doesn't show up, the Warriors don't stand a chance.

Most of the time J-Rich carry's this team on his back, with the exception of Dampier doing the same. Sure, the other players on this Warrior team are big contributors, but at the end of the day, J-Rich is obviously the star of this team, and will lead this team to victories. The ONLY reason the Warriors snapped their road losing streak. He has stepped up his play lately, part of the reason being because Van Exel is out. You can already see that Richardson is getting more touches just with the simple fact that Claxton is delivering him the ball. IMO, Warriors don't need Van Exel, their better off starting Speedy right now, all NVE has been doing lately is getting in the way of Richardson getting that main attention in the Warriorland.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">Damn Purple, I need to convert you all the way to a Warriors fan. You know your stuff.</div> Never, Laker fan for life. Bout to make me a J-Rich avator soon though, after I wear this Kobe one out a little.
I haven't seen many Warrior games this year....how is J-Rich's defense progressing? Be honest Rudeezy Seriously, when watching him last year, I could honestly say he was one of the worst defensive shooting guards in the league...him and Larry Hughes I'm glad his offensive game is developing so well though...he's having a great year statistically, and if i'm not mistaken, its about time for that extension...
I believe J-Rich's defense has improved. He has played pretty well against some of the ellite SG's in the Western Conference. But he is still not a "stopper" on D. This is why Cheany has been so important to this team.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobeonfire:</div><div class="quote_post">Well, he's more of a stopper than Richardson is haha.</div>Yes, he is actually a pretty good defensive player. It was his defense that slowed Ray Allen down when the Warriors defeated them in OT. Cheany is always given the tough assignment on D.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting custodianrules2:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah and Richardson almost fouled Ray Allen on that last play.</div> Yea, I was suprised they didn't call a foul on that play.
