It's good to have all of you guys here at JustBBall. This offseason should be a very interesting one indeed. I should get the chance this summer to post a lot more in the Rockets Forum. I really think we can make this forum at JustBBall something truly special.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting D Rocket:</div><div class="quote_post">For the rockets fans here a good website to go to is Clutchfans.net it's The best Rockets website there is, has a good forum</div> I got a question about their forums. I have been trying to register there for months but it keeps telling me that I have to donate to the site to register. Is there any way to get past that without paying?
[/QUOTE] Trip, right now the forums are filled with a lot of people. When it's crowded like that only the contributing members can get on. When the Mcgrady thing is over and it isn't as busy you should be able to register for free, but when there is a lot of traffic only contributing members will be allowed in the forums.
actually i dont think cc.net allow any new registration anymore...its been that way for a couple of months now... and yes, i do believe we can get this Rockets forum up and poppin as one of tha best on JBB...I think fans should express themselves more often and make this one of the most popular and active forums on this site...
Hey guys, i'm new to JBB.. I can't really remember the exact year that I became a rockets fan but i think it might've been around 96-97, or somewhere around those times with Dream, Glide and Barkley.. Since then I'd been researching up on the rockets history and everything. of course i oredy knew they were champs during the non-jordan yrs, but since doing some research, i know a few of the former players better. My fav player is definitely Hakeem, for obvious reasons. He's been there all time franchise player and has given so much to the club. Respectz to Clyde, he was always meant to be a rocket (no offense to the blazers), and I'm happy for Clyde that he cud at least get one championship with the rockets..
I was never really a fan until a few years when Yao Ming joned the team. I liked Steve Francis and the Cat though. I was a pretty big fan of Francis and I loved to watch old clips of Hakeem play. But when Yao Ming joined, I started to keep track of this team. Now with McGrady on the team (One of my fav players), I think this team oculd go far.
Ive been a rockets fan since the beginning of time...err 1997 and since they just got T-Mac and got rid of that little punk Steve Francis we shall be the Western Conference dominates and kings of scoring and defense!
I am a huge Rockets fan. I've basically been a fan all my life. My mom (for some strange reason) was a big rockets fan along with my uncles and grandfather and they used to live in houston. There seem to be more bandwagon rocket fans now more than ever since we acquired TMac. My current Favourite rocket is Yao, while my all time favourite is none other than the dream himself(no explanation neeeded).
Ive known about the Rockets since like i was about 6. But I be came a fan during the 1994 season when the Rockets made the playoffs and finals. The whole city was exited. I remember watching that exiting 7-game series with great moments like Olajuwon blocking starks possible game winning 3. And win they won it the following year i became a bigger fan. Things were going good untill Drexler and Hakeem were gone. I had then lost interest. But then i was brought back to the rockets by Yao. He has turned this team around.
I've been a Rockets fan since 1991 when I started to play basketball. My dad and mom were always Rockets fans and would always tell me stories about how my mom would worry about me when she was pregnant with me because she'd always get so excited and raise her blood pressure so high during the '85-'86 season. My dad would always watch the games with me next to him on the couch and I fell in love with basketball. I've been a fan through the best(the first and second championship seasons) and the worst(the pinstripe era, the lottery picks, etc...) and I've always loved Hakeem "The Dream". I'd watch him do his famous "Dream Shake" and after the game I'd go out in the driveway and mimick it and try to be "The Deam". Rockets from conception to death....
I've been a rockets fan for the past few months, I dont know why I've taken an interest in them they just seem so likeable. I mean with the arrival of T-Mac of course fans are going to come along but Yao seems better and is and so does pretty much the rest of the team. I hope I can stay a rockets fan for a while. Favorite Player Now: Tracy McGrady, Yao Ming Favorite Player All-Time: Clyde Drexler, Hakeem Olajuwon, Tracy McGrady
Hey guys, new here on the board, but I've been a rockets fan since i new what basketball was. my fav player ever has to be "the dream". greatest moment was when i got an autograph of his after a game. still have it, and will never relinquish it. im psyched about gettin t-mac, and ready for another nba title (circa 94,95)
relic, you lucky s.o.b!! Can you take a pic of that signature and post it up? I'd (almost) kill to get his autograph in person .
Wow, I've been at JBB for a few months, never looked at this thread. I've been a Rockets fan ever since I can remember. I live in Sugar Land and close to Houston (thats all you get  ) Favorite player was Hakeem Olajuwon, and favoite moment was when me and my bro got to play against him and Calvin Murphy (on different occasions). Calvin Murphy signed my basketball, and Hakeem signed a shirt i have that says Clutch City 94' 95'. I tried scanning them, but scanning a ball is hard, and a shirt is no easier. Clyde Drexler signed a poster I have of him, but the signature is on a Blue Away jersey, so it doesnt come out good either. I'll try taking some pics, and then post them. I can say that I'm spreading the word about this site at my school, and a lot of the Guests that visit the site are people I know. Hoping they'll become members soon!
I am a huge Steve francis fan, I liked the rockets before they had him though (since they got Drexler). I have also grown to become a Yao Ming fan and now that TMac is here, hopefully they can us past the first round. My favorite rocket of all time is mos def. the dream and my favorite moment was when the glide finally won the championship he had been waiting for (sorry barkley).
man i feel sorry for the rockets they 1-2 now the combination(T-Mac and Yao)has not been activated yet u know but yall just watch when it start its neva gunna end all da way baby
