ABC 7 reported that Kobe missed practice today due to his injured shoulder... ...also Shaq is doubtful for Wednesday, but Fox is going to play...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting notMuchgame:</div><div class="quote_post">ABC 7 reported that Kobe missed practice today due to his injured shoulder... ...also Shaq is doubtful for Wednesday, but Fox is going to play...</div> I'll say it again...Shaq is soft...he makes me sick...
Yeah, Shaq is milking it big time. Hopefully he's taking advantage of the time off and doing alot of cardio exercises to get his stamina up where it should be.
I dont really like Shaq though i appreciate his presence in the Lakers team. He is quite consistant but its not fun watching him. Its cool that Fox will play but Im not sure whether it will make a big difference
Shaq is a big baby. He's dominant, but still a big ol' crybaby. I wonder what his problem is now that he's milking this injury for all it's worth?
People dont be hating!Too much hate again. Shaq aint milking anything. You should think about the pain he has with this. Why would he be milking it and see his team that he loves loose. Think about that

Shaq is clearly faking this injury, and who knows when he'll finally come back to play. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Why would he be milking it and see his team that he loves loose.</div> Well some athletes only think about themselves first before it involves their team, and Shaq are just one of the many that act this way.
Maybe it was good Kobe didn't practice today. In that Utah game, he was still clutching that shoulder, so us fans know he's not offically at 100%. I'm sure he doesn't want to risk re-injuring that shoulder. Excellent news that Rick Fox will play. And let's hope it's about time Phil Jackson benches the poorly, inconsistent Devean George. And as for Shaq.....come back to the team, get that arrogant attitude out of your system...and help this Laker team win basketball games.
I'm not hating, just calling it like I see it. This isn't the first time his desire to return has been questioned. I'm hearing it's his way of showing how dissatisfied he is about not getting a contract extension, who knows though. But still, he's been out a long time with this relatively minor injury. Suck it up Shaq, be a man and get out there and play through it.

Where was he last year when we needed him to be in shape so we could even think about returning to the Finals? And I love how PJ continues to say this is Shaq's team, a leader is there for you at all times, rather it is off-court or on court. Shaq is clearly faking this injury now. Hell, maybe it was 'real' at first, but for a guy like Kobe to have a partially seperated shoulder come and show up to play before a guy with a strained calf? C'mon now, Kobe lays it all on the line for his team, Shaq does not. Kobe is the real leader. Now do I love Shaq? Yes, one of my favorite players ever, who has revolutionized the game with his dominance. But c'mon Big Shaq, get back on the court.
I love Kobe, and during the feud everything Kobe said was so true, Shaq missed so much games cause of a toe injury which every1 knows it wasnt serious at first.... and Shaq is all big.... simple job, catch, push and dunk and he barely needs to jump too

Shaqs injury is small and he shouldn't have been gone that long.

This definitely shows that Shaq wasn't just sitting out because he's soft. If he plays tonight it'll show just how tough he is.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Laker_Fever_834:</div><div class="quote_post">Do you have a link for that?</div> Well, they actually did say something like that, not neccessiarly twisting their arm...I saw it on the news here. They said that the doctors barely cleared Shaq to play...and they will be monitoring closely whether there is any swelling or additional pain...I didn't even know strains can swell, but what do i know
Sorry, I don't have a link. It was on the SoCal Sports Report last night on Fox Sports. I'll try to find something a bit more substantial though.
