Ive had it with Vince Carter....... 6 for 16 WTF? he has been under 20 points and under 50 percent from the feild in the last few games. He is playing his worse ball ever in the nba imo. Even his rookie season was better than what hes doing now. What happend to the Vince Carter at the start of this season who was driving to the basket..... getting to the free throw line...... not taking as many three pointers. Plus at the start of the season Vince's defense was better.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting v_carter15:</div><div class="quote_post"> I don't seem to understand why a lot of people on the Raps seem to forget about Marshall and Bosh many times on the floor...they're really effective for us and could help us so much more if they just got more touches.</div> totally agree, they need to run more post up situations for marshall especially...seems donyell gets most of his points from droppin 3 balls off broken plays. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Kid Canada:</div><div class="quote_post"> What happend to the Vince Carter at the start of this season who was driving to the basket..... getting to the free throw line...... not taking as many three pointers. It would be pretty unwise to give him up. If we didnt have him in the first place, we'd never even think of gettin into the playoffs at all. He's still injured rite now. He's not playin 100%, proof is in the Toronto Sun and Star. He may always seem to get injured, but i guess every star has his ups and downs. He may injure easy but he gets us into the playoffs better than McGrady. Iverson is also injured. 76ers probably arent gonna make it.
If the Sixers keep it up, they'll be watching the playoffs this years. Donyell Marshall has suprised me big time. I used to watch him when he was on the Warriors and wasn't impressed at all, but since being traded it seems he's gotten consitently better.
Guys, i forget. Do the Raptors make the playoffs if they're 1-8 in the East, or 1-4 in their division???

Also since the trade he has other people taking his shots...which is not a totally bad thing at all considering the kinds of shots he takes. Vince is in a little slump right now and not to give any type of excuses but he is still injured and not able to be as effective as before. He's rebounding and passing well so the scoring will come back at some time, hopefully its sooner than later

Did I call it or what??? Thats what I thought!! j/k
Raps break out of their slump. But I expect them to fall straight back down. And down. And down. And down........

Peterson made four three-pointers and scored a season-high 18 points off the bench as the Raptors cruised to a 94-84 victory over the undermanned Philadelphia 76ers. "The last game was a little embarrassing for the bench guys. We scored only two points," Peterson said. "But tonight we wanted to come out and play harder." Donyell Marshall had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Toronto, which had five players score in double figures. Vince Carter scored 17 points as the Raptors also snapped a four-game home losing streak against Philadelphia. "We can't be happy with just one win," Marshall said. "We have to keep it going now." </div> Click Below for the <u>full</u> NBA.com Recap Full NBA.com Recap Box Score I thought the Raptors played pretty well, could have been better but we needed this win and they won. Once again I'm not happy with Vince's performance, I could see more of an effort trying to get to the basket, which I'll give him more credit for however he still forced up some foolish shots.
Well actually the Raps are my second favorite team after Houston. When you live in Toronto, at least you gotta support your home team don't you? It's just that I've lost confidence in the franchise and it's ability to win.
Finally they give Bosh some touches unlike the game vs the Bulls were they could have won easily if they gave him the ball more. Jalen, Alvin, Marshall, and Bosh came up big for us. And did anyone see that sick shot by Vince?? Every time he goes to the basket somthing good happens, let's wait till hes 100% again.
meh...that shot was more lucky than sick imo i hate it when Vince breaks the defense, then passes the ball up when he has a perfectly good look at the basket. BE MORE SELFISH!!!!
