They also had 23 turnovers, 11 of those in the first quarter. One of those came on the first possession of the game. The Nets biggest lead of the game came at 29 points. The Sixers never lead. <font size="1"><div align="center">Boxscore from NBA.com</div></font>
They didn't stand a chance with poor shooting combined with turnovers. AI's absence did play a role in the game, but Glenn Robinson was horrific tonight. I think I'll call him "Puppy" for a while. I really don't think the Sixers will make the playoffs.

they are not going to make it to the finals.Anybody can still make the playoffs in the east , but with the knicks around like this? sixers or celtics are in trouble.I saw the game Eric Snow was frustraded man like 3 turn overs just throwing the ball to the audience..

The Sixers are now tied with the Miami Heat.

If Iverson never missed those 2 free throws in the first game, they would never go to overtime. So that would be a win. Next it was game 4. If the Sixers would have at least put a hand in Chucky Atkins face. That would be another win. The other games that the Sixers won, was by 5+ points or so. Then you would have the Nets. Thats the team the Nets even admitted that they didnt not want to face in the post season. But thats last year. Altough they are struggling. They will get on their feet. And once its playoff time AI goes all out. He number 2 in ALL Time Playoff's PPG. He's right under Jordan. And now that he has Big Dogg who can easily drop 20+ points for them every night. And Sammy catching those alley and blocking shots and grabbing rebounds. Also with Eric Snow brilliance. I see Sixers in the finals this year.
I3, keep posting like that and you will be JBB's favorite whoopin' boy. I'll make a bet with you... If the Sixers make the Finals, I will leave JBB. If the Sixers don't, I get to ban you for life. Now how about that for a bet?
There's no way in hell the Sixers are making it to the finals this year. Hell, they have a slim chance at making the playoffs, at best. AI steps up in the finals, but it wasn't enough to win, was it? You can't dwell on the "What If?" of the past. Fact is, they couldn't overcome the teams they came up against the past several years. And guess what? They're still not even playing .500 basketball, anymore. Even with the rising of Dalembert and the return of Glenn Robinson. Doesn't matter how many points, passes or blocks you and your team can rack up if they can't even keep a decent, respectable win percentage. 19-26 is not respectable. And guess what? The Cleveland Cavaliers have a better shot of making the playoffs than they do. Even if Philadelphia's record is good enough for an 8th seed, the the Cavaliers have to do is match their record, since they're already 3-0 against the Sixers this season. The Miami Heat are also on a role, too. Stepping up and jumping into the playoff picture. Simply put: The Sixers don't have a chance. Even your fellow Sixers fans are amazed at the sheer unintelligence of your predictions, and take that bet, and you'll be banned soon.
The Sixers can't even beat the Memphis Grizzlies and are 0-3 against the Cavs this year. How can ANYONE say that they'll reach the Finals is beyond me.
Thats the season. Kings are 0-2 with the Mavs. And we all know DAMN well if it was the Playoff's you know who would win the series. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I'll make a bet with you... <div class="quote_poster">Quoting I3:</div><div class="quote_post">Thats the season. Kings are 0-2 with the Mavs. And we all know DAMN well if it was the Playoff's you know who would win the series.</div> Like the Mavs beat them last year eh?
I was thinking the same thing. Looks like someone will be banned for life, soon. You should really recognize when you've been pimped.
This really hyped me up, I know they're only the Sixers. But man it feels good to see the Nets winning again. They really deserve some wins, afterall they were in the Finals twice. Hopefully they can do it again, and be pitted up against the likes of the Pacers or the Pistons.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Like the Mavs beat them last year eh?</div> Keyword....last year...So your basically saying that Spurs can beat this year Lakers. Anyways I would like to see the Mavs beat this year Kings. Especially with Bibby playing quite possibly his best season of his carrer. Peja is having a MVP type year. We also forgot about Brad Miller one of the best passing big man in the league...Remeber C Webb isnt even back yet. If you want we can also make a bet thats the Kings will make it further in the Playoff's than the Mavs. What do you say?
You told us the Mavericks have beaen the Kings twice this year, then you say you want to see this year's Mavs beat this year's Kings. Interesting. And I'll take a page out of your book. This year's Spurs can beat this year's Lakers. Even without Tim Duncan, the first game between them this year at the SBC Center was when Manu Ginobili set career highs in poins (33) and rebounds (12) and had 2 blocks, to boot. If Robert Horry's clean block hadn't have been waived off without being reviewed, the Spurs would've been up two at halftime. If they would've called Kobe's big ass travel at the end, then the basket wouldn't have counted and he wouldn't have gotten a free throw attempt, and the Spurs would've been up three. And if Ginobili wasn't so tired and would've made his final shots, they would've either won by 2, or gone into a third overtime. But that didn't happen, and it went down as a loss. Same goes for your Sixers. Shoulda, coulda, woulda, but didn't. Maybe you should just hope the Sixers can beat the Raptors right now...
