If you could be any NBA player for a year, who would it be? Take into consideration age, looks, build, salary, location, team/ownership, legal troubles, injuries, investments/endorsements, attitude and skills.

I say injuries because you may say Shaq or AI, but who want's to get up limping and hurt EVERY morning? I say team/ownership because who would want to deal w/ Isaiah every day?

Think carefully and give the reasons why. A couple of you are going to be obvious, not to mention any names but Bron & KG will get some ink.

    well, definitely not kobe.

chris webber. i don't care about the injuries or legal problems, i just want to get tyra banks.

i guess i'll pick tony parker. guy has a great future, will get paid pretty well, he's smart, mature (he kept it together with the whole j-kidd situation), is reasonably good looking and not super tall, which is something i wouldn't want to be (too much hassle with cars, clothes and the like). plus i like san antonio. so tony parker it is.

Hah! Agreed! Tyra Banks is hot!

Mmm... I think I wouldn't mind being Lebron James. He's got the most upside, and has already so much money to toss around at the age of 18. Having that kind of skills and popularity is definitly pretty cool.

I would also pick LeBron James. Getting a $90 million contract from Nike, going to the NBA out of high school, and being the most popular guy in the NBA right now - thats the life.

Well, I would say Manu Ginobili, but I'm so much like him already.

I'll take Tim Duncan. I like San Antonio, plus, I've accomplished so much already, and could only continue to build on it. And, my shoe would be releasing soon.

You're exactly right...he's easily got the hottest wife in the NBA.

Same here. I can't believe I've been a Rice fan this long and still haven't seen his wife. P.J. Brown has a hot wife I believe.

I'd say Lebron, but I wouldn't be able to go into bars yet, or legally gamble(though with 90 mil, i wouldn't need to).

I think, even though I hate him, I'd want to be Rick Fox. The guy has everything: went to Carolina under Dean Smith, played for both the Celtics and Lakers, got three championship rings, and gets to shoot open jumpers playing alongside two great players(well, four now).

The fact that he's injured and in pain right now doesn't deter me. It's almost better, because now I'd be at home being fussed over by my beautiful wife, Vanessa Williams. Youch!

KG, he lives a very family orientated life. Plus he seems to have a very good one. He's a nice guy to boot, living as him wouldn't be so bad. I see myself more wanting the life of people like him or Dmase, or even Antonio Daniels. I love giving and helping people. It'd be great to do those sort of things while being loved and famous as well.

Getting up hurt every morning is a small price to pay to live in a 10 million dollar house and have a stable of Ferrari's [IMG].

If I could be any player in the NBA, I would be Shaq, he has anything that anyone could ever want, and then some. He has one of the highest salaries in the NBA, a countless number of big endorsements, lots of NBA championship rings, an olympic gold medal, a good family, millions of dollars worth of Ferrari's and other similar cars, and tons of other stuff.

    Shaq is the American dream.

If I could be ANYONE affiliated with the NBA in some way, not necessarily a player, then I would be Mark Cuban or one of the Maloof brothers that owns the Kings, OR I would be David Stern or mabye even Phil Jackson.

This is a really fun thread [IMG].

You may call me boring but id like to be someone calm, cool and humble, someone who cares about the community and someone not big headed (cough M.J Cough), I dont care about the money or fame, Just to be able to wear a jersey and go around quiet and enjoy life, Someone who others can look up to as a good roll model, someone who CARES about what kids think, see and do, like them, towards them, so my pick is hmmm.......Id like to be Tim Duncan, Obviously he's the best(ok ok Kg too), But i like him, He's humble, Hes smart and cool, He' a very relaxed guy and likes to spend time with his family and wife, I also would like to give something back to the community, I would love to help children, and really help the game get back to how it was, Team, Great fundementals and a close community relationship, This is what i wish i could do, Im 16 so i still got many years left to get better, peace
