A couple days ago I was watching NBA Fastbreak and this NBA analyst guy said that Quentin Richardson will be in Denver next year...I dont know if it's definitely happening, just saying i heard it.

If that happens Denver would have a crazy team. Q-Rich, Melo and Miller and Lenard and Jon Barry off the bench. But I think the Clips would match any reasonable offer.

I was reading Sports Illustrated and it said that Quentin wants to stay a Clipper. But I dont know, he might have changed his mind.

Looking ahead to next year in the NBA isn't that simple... now-a-days you're lucky if a team keeps 5-6 of the players from the previous year. In Denver's case most of the players are in their last year... one of the reason they are doing so well, everybody is playing well to get bigger contracts (Olowokandi did it last year, and now he's dropped off again, although injury is partially to blame). So Lenard and Barry may not even be there, and you can't forget Boykins who is a big part of that team... all 3 may be on another team.

Denver is probably going to get a little excited about this year, kill all the cap space they will have on any big name free agent they can find, or semi-big name FA. They'll do what Chicago did a few years ago and get desperate and sign Brad Miller and Eddie Robinson (granted Brad Miller turned out to be pretty good, though not for Chicago) to huge contracts. They should stick to the Earl Boykins, Voshon Lenards and Jon Barrys, the role players that are key to their winning.

Just to hit my original point home, the Knicks currently have 6 of the 13 players they ended the 2002-2003 season with... they have less than half the team they had 7 months ago. The T-Wolves only have 4 of the 14 they ended last season with... a lot changes in 1/2 year in the modern NBA.

Denver's going after K-Mart first. If that doesn't happen, maybe then they'll go after Q.

I think Lenard has a few years left but im not sure, but I know Boykins has atleast 2 more years after this one. I think it was a 5 year contract that he signed last season actually.

I thought a lot of 'em signed 1 year contracts... well if that is the case, then they'll have a few role players, but a LARGE portion of Denver's roster will be up for free agentcy next year.

That would be plain sick if the Nuggz managed to pry KMart from the Nets, not that its too likely IMO. But a run and gun Denver team, with a legit power forward? Youch.

They wouldn't sign K-Mart considering it wouldn't allow Nene minutes and time to grow and K-Mart has a HUGE salary

Firstly, how much salary KMart commands is how much the Nuggz sign him to.
Secondly, Nene will probably be moved to centre if KMart is signed, and Nene won't lose a minute of playing time.

    Nene is 6'9"
A 6'9" center in the west will get eaten alive

Actaully hes 6'11, but I do agree he shouldn't be a center.
