Roanoke Dazzle forward Mikki Moore has signed a 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz, making him the fifth NBDL-to-NBA "Gatorade Call-Up" of the season for the National Basketball Development League.

This is his second callup. The Nets called him up early in the season & gave him two 10 day contracts. He never got on the court unless it was a blowout. But from following the NBDL a little bit on NBAtv, he has been playing real well. He was amongst the league leaders in points. Maybe given the proper opportunity he could produce on the NBA level.

The Jazz need a productive big man like him after the loss of Bodchardt. Ostertag is not reliable and Moore might just break out under Jerry Sloan.

Ostertag not reliable?, he's playing the best ball he has in his career(8.6 RPG, 8.0 PPG and 2.27 BPG), and Utah have been missing his presence when he's not there. Ostertag is Utah's best big man, by far, right now (although Ruffin is dominating the boards recently). But as for moore, he could well break out, like almost everyone on the Jazz has this season.
