Obviously, mine is Michael Redd and Scoonie Penn at Ohio State.

When Penn game over from BC, he and Redd took an OSU program that was almost at rock bottom after the Jimmy Jackson and Lawrence Funderburke eras and took them to a Final Four after an 8-22 season the previous year.

They knocked out Artest and the Red Storm in the Elite Eight and gave eventual champion UConn a good game in the Final Four.

Who would have guessed that Redd and Artest would end up being better NBA players than Rip Hamilton at that time?

MAN!!!!, Y'all took most of mine

It's alright though, how 'bout this:

    >pro's

1)Jordan and Paxson/Armstrong/Harper(does it really matter!!?)
    2)Thomas and Dumars
    3)Magic and Scott
    4)Francis and Mobley
5)Nash and Van Exel(IT was fun while it lasted) :P

    >OK, now for the youngsters, watch the first one cuz they're interchangable

1)Mike Bibby, Miles Simon, Michael Dickerson, and Jason Terry [IMG]
    2)Iverson and Page
    3)Hurley and Hill(even though I HATE Duke)
    4)Damon Stoudamire and Khalid Reeves
    5)Rose and King

I know this is cheating but how about Magic and MJ ( dream team baby! ) [IMG]

Allen Iverson and Eric Snow because Snow can guard the sg that AI would have to guard.

Kevin Johnson and Jeff Hornacek (trip beat me to the punch on hornacek). KJ's penetration and pull up jumpers and Hornacek raining down shots fast and loose... did the heart good to see.

Stockton and Hornacek is my pick, Stockton and Jeff Malone wasn't bad either and Stockton and Bobby Hansen was better than it sounded. Mark Jackson and Reggie Miller was good backcourt that hasn't been mentioned.

Speaking of college ranks, I liked the duo of Jameer Nelson and Delonte West this year. That was far away the best backcourt in the nation in my opinion.
