<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Magic Chief Operating Officer John Weisbrod said that the club, still seeking a new arena, will re-open discussions with city and county officials in late February or March. "At some point, it has to be discussed," Weisbrod said.

The issue of building a new arena as a public/private venture has been a subject of debate the last few years. Unable to persuade politicos to use tax money for a new building, Magic owner Rich DeVos put the club on sale in January of 2002, but had a change of heart and took it off the market two months later.

The club, which ties huge financial losses to its outdated, 15-year-old arena, ended discussions, but the mater has always been on the backburner. Asked if he thinks the climate -- political and economical -- has changed in the Magic's favor -- Wesbrod said, "We'll see."</div>

Well, their 2 options now are get a new arena, keep it how it is, or move the franchise. New arena isn't going to happen anytime soon. If they brought this up, they don't want to keep it as it is. Moving the franchise could happen.

Nothing really. Yeah this isn't going to happen anytime soon. It will probably when we make the finals or something. As for moving the franchise I don't think that won't happen until I'm in old age. IMO

No it is not buddy. Conseco Fieldhouse is nice, AMerican Airlines arena is nice, MCI center (Phone Booth) is nice, Staples center is nice , Wachovia center is nice, Toyota center is nice, and Arco arena is nice. But TD Waterhouse Center is not nice. If they really wanted Tim Duncan they should have told him that TD stands forTim Duncan.

If your watching on TV.. it looks ok.. But I am sure a arena thats been around 15 some years has its share of problems..
