The Mavs are a great scoring team, no doubt about that but They don't have that killer mentality. I can't see the Mavs getting far into the playoffs as long as they don't have an inside presence, who is consistant. I like all the Mav players (cept Walker) but all the offense just isn't working and its about time to try something new. I wouldn't say they have to rebuild because they already have so much talent, but I think they've got to make more than one trade and toughen up their team.

This is just one reason why I think the Mavs won't win the NBA title. They have no killer instinct, and they rely on hot shooting to give them the lead. They are infamous for giving up big leads, which we all witnessed today!

Sure, they'll have some great games where they on fire all the time, and can beat anyone in the NBA when their hot, but come playoff time in a 7 game series IMO they don't have a chance.
