<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMac_OwNz:</div><div class="quote_post">with stars like Lebron and Melo ...thats why he is not in there..as well as TJ Ford..but if 2 guards get injured who would be the number 2 option after TJ Ford? ..Keith Bogans..thats right not only his great defense and offense..but how tall is he? and in those 3 months he averages like what 5 rebounds a game? thats just impressive...Ill be looking foward for him to be in the sophmore game next season tho..if he starts from the beg next season..you'll see him there trust me.</div> What the hell are you trying to say? Anthony, Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Haslem, Kaman, Hayes, Hinrich, Josh Howard, and TJ Ford all get the nod before Bogans. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">but if 2 guards get injured who would be the number 2 option after TJ Ford? ..Keith Bogans..thats right not only his great defense and offense.. </div> Umm right. There won't be 'options' during the Rookie game. All of the players on the roster are capable of making their shots, therefore there shouldn't be any sort of order. Think what you want, but one solid month of basketball shouldn't justify 4 months of basketball.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting franchise3:</div><div class="quote_post">I first thought that Keith Bogans would turn out to be like Jeryl Sasser and Steve Hunter: a bust. Turns out that he's better than all those aforementioned players and probably will always be. He's playing with a lot of maturity as a rookie, and as time goes by, he'll explode.</div> How can a mid-second rounder ever really be considered a bust? Most people aren't even expected to make the team, and are out of the NBA within a couple years, or never even play in the league. Nobody expects one to be a solid role player for an NBA team in his rookie year, or develop into a very good player. It does happen though, some notable 2nd Rounders I can think of off the top of my head are Nick Van Exel, Cuttino Mobley, Eric Snow and Carlos Boozer, all very good players in the league, and very much established players that will be around for a while(especially Boozer) and have fine NBA careers. Boozer's looking like he could be one of the best Second-Round Picks EVER.
