hey guys let's tell which NBA players have what habits. For example, Jason Kidd blows a kiss to the crowd (or is it to the rim?) when he gets to the line. No rules so noone can break them  dig your NBA brains and holler it out guys! :biggrin2:

Deke used to wag his finger after he blocks a shot(stopped doin it after they started throwin' T's at him)..I used to get a laugh out of Mark Jackson's shimmy too....Larry Bird used to use his hand to wipe the bottom of his shoe..not sure if it was a habit or he thought it gave him better grip on the floor...

Jeff Hornacek rubbed his face when he shot a free throw, as a way to say "Hello" to his kids.

Darius Miles and Quentin Richardson bang their fist on their head (there may be more, but it originated with that year's Clippers) when they score or do anything good.

Mark Jackson and Antoine Walker both did that stupid shimmy thing with their chest/shoulders.

That's apparently a gang ritual, funniest thing I've ever seen was when Brent Barry imitated it against the Clippers after scoring, and their bench went absolutely nuts [IMG]

BN, I always thought players rubbed the bototm of their shoes to get rid of dust that collects on the court, I see just about every player do it in a game, I know I do.

Note: His carrer high was 63 peace signs.

Garnett putting talcum powder on his hands and clapping it right in front of the announcers.....it seems like he doesn't do it on purpose, but I know better than that

J-Kidd is blowing kisses to his wife and Kidd.

Greatest habit? Tim Duncan's no reaction whatsoever after every great play.

No... he does that on purpose... he usually finds the writers and does it. Every game. I personally love it... you can tell some news writers get a kick out of it... others on the other hand, seem to get upset about it.

Mutombo never stopped doing that. He could just never do it directly at the player, but toward the crowd.

We almost forgot the king of trash talking. GP the Glove. I have a feeling that one day somebody will just get real frustrated and just knock him senseless. [IMG]

i haven't seen him do it in awhile..but that doesn't mean anything. lol

btw: deke once said that Jordan had never dunked on him in a game, well the next game they played Jordan made it a point to dunk hard on him,and after MJ dunked he wagged the finger and got teed up. LOL

Great way to get a side ache during a game.

Let's not forget Tmac habit of not being able to back up his words. i.e. "It's great to finally be out of the first round.", "Don't worry about these youngsters coming into the league....I'll be taking them to school every night."
