Really? That's weird, another Allan Houston in the league.

Note: His carrer high was 63 peace signs.</div>

what, 63 in a GAME? you counted them? for real? yeah i notced this too from Christie... i think on the 63th sign, his wife wished it would have been a "metal rock" sign...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Mutombo never stopped doing that. He could just never do it directly at the player, but toward the crowd.</div>

there was this one time in the playoffs i think when Mutombo's Hawks were playing the Bulls... he blocked Pip's lay up I guess and his teammate collected the ball but a Bull guard stole back the ball and passed it to Pip who was still standing under the rim while Mutombo was busy with his finger trademarks [IMG] directed towards the pumped-up ATL crowd with his back on Pip... as soon as he got the ball he dunked it over Mutombo, and I guess he was embarassed to be too busy with his thing than focusing to just play the game, defense...

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMac_OwNz:</div><div class="quote_post">I heard darrel armostrong eats a lot of chocolate and a big cup of cofee with 12 packs of sugar before every game...</div>

Hersheys kisses before and at halftime, and a cup of coffee with 10 sugars (i think) before every game. Gives him energy he reckons, after he did it once and he played really well - been doing it ever since.

As for KG's powder clapping at the announcers, that was started by MJ, used to purposely do it to the Bulls announcers every home game.

    - Karl Malone mumbling words before shooting a free throw.
    - Magic and Isiah exchanging a kiss on the cheek each time they played each other.
    - Charles Oakley used to listen to Red Man's Time for Some Action before each game.
    - I think Ray Allen still wears his UConn Jersey or practice t-shirt under his Sonics jersey.
    - For a time, CWeb would not autograph anything unless it had Michigan on it
    - Anthony Mason used to get some engraved writing in his hair before big games
    - Avery Johnson goes to the barbershop for a clean shave and fade before each game
    - Someone on the Suns used to shave their leg and armpit before the game, it was Thunder Dan or Tom Chambers

MJ wore his blue North Carolina shorts under his Bulls uniform for "good luck" (like he needed any help). And who could forget those floppy socks of Pistol Pete?

    And for you Detroit fans...

Isiah Thomas had a routine where he had to be the last one on the bus, the last one taped, and the last one out of the locker room. And during Pistons' pregame layups, he had to line up behind Bill Laimbeer.

Richard Hamilton bounces the ball from side to side before shooting a free throw.

Allen Iverson (I'm not sure if he still does this... I stopped paying attention), taps his elbow before shooting a free throw.

Not sure if this is a habit but Steve Nash's constant licking of his fingers.

Sorry if some of these were said. I didn't feel like reading through the whole thread, lol.

not only that, the season before against the Hornets, he said that no question he was the best player in that series, the very next game B-Diddy lit him up with a triple double (including 38 pts)! [IMG] Baron

I think Tracy is a better player than B-Diesel but the Diesel lit T-mac up. He had 2 Triple Doubles in 4 games . He also hit a game winning three which they didnt count but it was in time. Thats why they have review at the end of quarters. Also that year Reggie Miller did the same thing in game 5 against the Nets but his shot came after the time.

OMG, None of you have mentioned LeBron's constant biting of the nails. During a dead ball or on the bench he is always biting his nails. It is very disturbing, and once I saw him spit a piece out. A man of his stature should have some class, should borrow bibby's clippers.

Shaq domnating every time he steps on the floor, and Kobe taking over games and carrying the Lakers down the stretch are both big habits. Also, another habit is whenever the Lakers have a full healthy lineup they smash every team in the league. [IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Sir Desmond:</div><div class="quote_post">That's apparently a gang ritual, funniest thing I've ever seen was when Brent Barry imitated it against the Clippers after scoring, and their bench went absolutely nuts [IMG]

BN, I always thought players rubbed the bototm of their shoes to get rid of dust that collects on the court, I see just about every player do it in a game, I know I do.</div>who told you it's a gang ritual

Doug Christie-he always kisses his hand then raises his arm in the air, signaling a hello and I love you to his wife.
