ITs been 3 years guys, wow, it feels like yesterday. I just want to rember the men and women who died that day, the firemen and police officers, and the people on the plane that crashed in western PA, and of course the solidiers in the Middle East fighting the war that 9-11 started.

Anyone have any thoughts about it?

On that sad morning, I remember waking up hung over, driving to Taco Bell (at 9:00am) in Santa Cruz. I got my breakfast, then I began to hear some rumblings about the World Trade Center on the radio. My FIRST thought was that it was a replay of what had went down in the early 90's. I then turned the car around, and drove back to the house to turn on the TV. I stood there in front of the TV for a while staring in awe at the planes flying into the side of the building....I woke up my housemates...

That is a day we can never forget...I was at both the Pentagon and the WTC within 3 days of the attacks. In some strange way, I almost wish I was still there, at that moment, trying to comprehend how this could happen at all.

I have pictures of NYC on the Saturday after the attacks...I should put them up on my personal site.

well i was in 6th grade... and the teachers for me kept there mouth shut... but when i got to other classes.... you know, the ones who teach 7th and 8th grade...the teachers let it slip...

but i agree, i didnt like them not telling me... they couldve told me a plane flew into the the twin towers or the pentagon... and left out the terrorist part for me to find out when i got home, but they didnt...

now heres soemthing i have a problem w/... 4 planes crashed that day, not 3... many people forget that there was a plane that landed near pittsburgh... people died on that plane too, its just that all i hear about is either the WTC or the pentagon. dont forget about pittsburgh

my school didnt tell us either, imy friend was late to school, and when he came in he had to check in the front office, and he saw the TV that there was attacks, so he told some of us that NYC was bombed, and there were rumors all over, finally teachers told us and we watched tv as we got picked up to go home

and the reason it didnt was because people actually had guts to stand up to the terrorists

There were people in the other planes that stood up to the terrorists as well. However, the terrorists had some of their teams stay back in their seats. On one plan, a passenger started to get up to defend the stewardess and had his throat slit from the man in the row behind him.

Only the people on the Pittsburgh plane were able to plan together and as a force overcome the terrorists. Obviously, these people were huge heros.
