<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) -- Saint Joseph's big three got the third-ranked Hawks through one of their toughest tests of the season.

The perimeter trio of Jameer Nelson, Delonte West and Pat Carroll combined for 60 points and Saint Joseph's beat Villanova 74-67 Monday night to extend its school-record winning streak to 19 games.

"We have the mentality right now that losing is not an option," West said. "When you set high goals for yourself, high standards, you have to answer it every day. We believe in ourselves but we don't want to get ahead of ourselves."

With the win over their local rival on the road, the Hawks (19-0) and No. 2 Stanford (18-0) remain the only unbeaten teams in Division I. Saint Joseph's has eight regular-season games left, all against Atlantic 10 opponents and only three against teams with winning records.</div>

Since they play in the A-10 the only game they'll probably lose will be a tournament one (A-10 Tourny). They played a decent regular season schedule, but I would still like to see them challenged further like Stanford is being challenged now. However, playing in the A-10 might hurt them in the long run. Stanford might end up a seed or two lower, but they'll be more experienced in big game situations come tournament time.

St. Joe's are awesome. I'm not a big college fan but I'm definitley here to support any Philly-related teams. Plus, Pat Carroll went to my HS. So, now I def. have to support them. Go Hawks!!

Jameer and Delonte are the best backcourt in the country. They gonna make a splash in the Tourney. [IMG]

Jameer Nelson is amazing, I watched him dismantle my Zags in the first game and have been a fan ever since. I agree that St. Joes will be a force in the tournament.

i hope they wind up as a one and uconn as a two in the same region. that'll make some exciting elite 8 action. plus i want to see these two teams play. both of the backcourts.

Jameer Nelson would dominate Taliek Brown, but UConn would win because of Okafor in the middle. St. Joe's is strictly a perimeter team with Nelson, West and Carroll. And no one would be able to do anything against Okafor.
