1st quarter was priceless when lebron started making his scoring run and they showed a picture of phil jackson and his experrison. He is the guy who said lebron didnt belong in the nba. Shaq and diop look like brothers side by side lol. Wagner hitting clutch shots so is boozer nice game.

And somehow, after going 6-16 from the line, Shaq makes two free throws...

Great game last night. A 111-106 overtime win. Shaquille O'Neal of course was the leading scorer, 14/20 with 37 points, and Gary Payton scored a season high 30 points on 12/20 shooting. I have to give a lot of props to Gary Payton, because he locked down on LeBron James, he took him out of his game in the second half, and yes he backed up all his trashtalking to LeBron which I thought was great. Shaq did a great job of staying in rhythm offensively, and using to his advantage Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Dasagana Diop, and Carlos Boozer late in the fourth quarter and overtime. He was dominant, just the same old typical Shaq all us Laker fans know. I do worry about tonight's game in Philadelphia. They could be very fatigued knowing that they played overtime, and then had to fly over to the East Coast to start at 7:30 ET. But I have a lot of confidence in them right now, and anything can happen.

Some Laker trivia, the last time 2 Lakers scored 30+ points in a game besides Shaq & Kobe was Van Exel & Elden Campbell.

James is proving that not electing him to ASG was big...big mistake :thumbsdow. Lakers play very good game. Two veterans was too much for young Cavs team. I like what Boozer said about O'Neal: "I was trying to push him. Pushing a wall is what if felt like"

Big win for the Lakers last night. Shaq had a monster game like I expected, and like I said in the preview, we needed GP to step up and give some scoring production this game, and he did that exactly. Those two players single handedly put the team on their back to lead us to this victory. Also suprised what Horace Grant did. I thought he was pretty much useless, but he also stepped up and posted a double double. Good game and glad the Lakers could take it!

I know I'm a little late on this thread, but didn't have time to post yesterday. [IMG]
