Sunday Night broadcast

I was going to mention this in preseason but I really like like Summerall replacing Mike Patrick.

Theisman has really irrirtated me tonight & last season. Thank goodness Maguire is there to keep him in line. I will have to watch the game next week (Cincy/phins) w/ the mute on. JT was one of those experts who thought Feidler s/b the man in Miami but then so did Salisbury.

This only proves that QB's who go into broadcasting don't know squat. Aikman may be the exception. At least, Bradshaw is amusing.

It seems former D line men & O linemen make better announcers. Schlereth, Howie, Tim Green, Bill Maas, etc... Dierdorf being the exception.

 

You're kidding, right? Listening to Pat Summerall at this point is like listening to Cubs games the last two or three (or ten) years when Harry was still calling the games! He just seems a step (or three) slower than he used to be...

 

I hate Summerall, The guy is senile. They need to revamp the whole Sunday Night crew, outside of Suzy Kolber they are horrible.

 

I said I like Summerall better than Mike Patrick that is all. PS is slower and not as sharp as he used to be but its better than MP who yells to much.

 

That's so weird... I like Mike Patrick. It's Theismann and McGuire that I can't stand. But at least those two are funny when they argue...

 

I like Patrick too... Summerall needs to retire.

 

He did retire, but I guess the mortician did a great job, because he looks and sounds almost alive out there.

Maguire & Suzy are what makes the Su night game IMO.

 

I think they should bring Suzy up to the booth and ditch Summerall!

 

I thought Summerall was really struggling...I heard a lot of mistakes and bad calls....its a shame too, hes used to be the industry standard...
