GIANTS VS EAGLES I smelled the eagles wrath. We got our @sses beat and theres no other way to put it. I give credit to To for making the wills looking like JILL'S. Mcnabb had a decent game as well and hats off. Westbrook did a darn well job but was upshowed by Tiki Barber who made it look like he wasnt even trying. Eli got rocked but he did get the job done....... so did warner. BELEIVE IT OR NOT our offense was not the problem. OUr O - line looked pretty damn good if u ask me but the eagles line looked stellar. Our pass rush wash like a public pool....... LUKE WARM. but i was deeply dissapointed with our secondary and our LB's. Emmons did nothing, Green did nothing and Greisen/ Torbor did less than nothing. Shaun Williams should just give up football and go throw himself off a bridge. Alexander looked decent but stoutmire dissapointed me deeply. Our special teams COVERAGE WAS HORRIBLE ( as usual ) But Christie looked great and Feagles did as well. REDSKINS VS BUCS Clinton Portis started out the game with a HUGE bang and quickly progressed into a a slouch at the end of the game but OVERALL had a good game. What once was a DOMINANT Defense for Tampa Bay looked Like a Red Headed Step Child, Ignored and abused. But the D was not half as bad as there offense Brad Johnson had almost as bad as of a game as Jay Fiedler for the simple fact that as the game progressed it seemed that he just throwed in the towel........ i wonder if Rich Gannon is up for trades . Brunell didnt look that special i think that the giants will have their way with him next week. The redskin Defense jhad a pretty good game.........which scared me. COWBOYS VS VIKINGS The Vikings had their way with there D. Mario Edwards ,the quiet CB, proves how valuable he really is. Randy scored 2(i beleive) and onterrio Smith had a beautiful 63 yard catch. George didnt do jack. And Deshard ( something) scored a 7 yard td he could be the next Aveion Cason.

also some credit... i gotta give credit to both the browns and Detroit the browns defense was phenominal today... they looked superb and detroit: they blocked a field goal and returned it for a TD... plus theyre first road win in about 3 or 4 years... of course the 3 you named were quite fine also 900 posts... whoo hoo!

Sorry GF1. And they still gave up 17 points. I'll be interested to see them play a better defense. If they play this well consistantly, then they will be the team to beat in the NFC.
Lets get something straight... Tiki Barber had over 200 total yards, a washed up QB threw 200 on you guys, and shockey although struggling cought a beautiful 35 yard catch and hilliard caught a 50 yarder... did u beat us yes but we didnt sit there and get pounded. im hust hoping our secondary kills ourselves... and lito and sheldon didnt have that good of a game IMO it wasnt bad but we didnt take advantage thats all.... we knew the Giants were trouble but know we know that the eagles cant stop the run!

Detroit should be given credit where credit is due, but they are going to struggle again this year. Especially now that Charles broke his collar bone. Will that kid ever be able to play?
It looks like it's going to be another long season for both Detroit and for Chicago. Neither team looked very good... Detroit, however, should do better than they have the past two or three years. By the end of the year, their young guys will be clicking.

Our defense had its swagger to cause a turnover for points. It was our offensive line that didnt show up and that is expected since we have 4 new starters on the o line and they have yet to play togeither as a unit, due to injurys all during the preseason. We like that our defense speed is back and healthy. Going into half time portis had 111 yards, at the end of the game portis had 145 yards. Whats that say for our red headed step child defense? It says. Our defense adjusted and shut him down. Where was lavernos coles,gardner and the other's on the passing game? Barber and kelly and had them contained. We lost the game for one simple reason .. offensive line wasnt protecting brad and we couldnt score on offense. It was never our defense. Our defense scored us points and kept us in it. Fortunatly its only week 1 and our offensive line coach is known for taking a shitty offensive line and making them play decent. For the record it is week 1 and week 1 doesnt warrant how one teams season will go. If that was the case tampa would of never won the superbowl in 2002 after the way they started the season, and the pats wouldnt of won the superbowl after their week 1 performance in 2003 31-0 loss to the bills. Its a long season lots of football to be played.

Will that kid ever be able to play?</div> well its out of my area so i couldnt see the game... but i thought it was a good one... i do feel bad for Rogers... the guy is a good player and its a shame he keeps getting injured... i hope he plays next year w/o injury or any problems
Your Defense score a lucky mishap Touchdown! that had no D skill that was a lineman who stepped on BRUNELL'S Ankle! ALthough they adjusted to Portis he stuill was effective and got the first downs when needed so basicallly i will agree to your D being a lot better in that game but they only looked good in the stats column and didnt come up big when they needed to
Its called pressure! 3 bucs were already thru the line to pick up the fumble and run for a td. Something the buccaneers have been doing forever. Its what makes our defense so beautiful.
But at the end of the day both our teams didnt get the job done (WHICH SUX) Pressure or no pressure i stjill think it wouldve happened
Thats what makes the nfl so great. They play enough games to adjust and get better. I know my team traditionally starts out the gate slow.
