We surveyed more than 31,000 fans in SportsNation and you told us what you want from your favorite team. And then you told us how well your favorite franchise repays you for all the love and money you devote to it.

Below, you can check the Ultimate Standings to see:

    Where your favorite team stands

How each NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB team ranks in its own sport

How the franchises in each major market compare to each other

How each team does in each category, such as "Fan Relations" and "Stadium Experience"</div>

I know this has to do with the Spurs but it involves the whole NBA. I'll move it to the Spurs forum in a bit.[IMG]

That list is completely screwed up. For example: The Miami Dolphins stadium ranking is 40th, yet the Florida Marlins stadium ranking is 120. For those of you who don't know, they play in the SAME stadium, so how could the stadium for the Dolphins be 80 places higher than the Marlins?

Since the list was based on a survey, I guess it all comes down to which teams have more die-hard fans.

No way the Spurs is the best Franchise in sports. ESPN have this list every year. And the winner always goes to the team that wins a championship. Winning the championship only makes a team the best of the particular sport in that particular year. Saying a team is the best franchise is just ridiculous. It's like calling a player the most popular player just for winning the MVP. It just doesn't work like that.

This is somewhat surprising, I would've thought it was a Soccer team. I'm glad basketball won, it is the best sport ever in my eyes. As for team wise, they're very deserving, they're true winners, true champions, true pioneers. They bring a whole new meaning to the purity of the game.

"No flair, no flash, making due with what they got." They have the ability to contain, win and conquer. I may not be that much of a fan, but I know they deserve props, but this certainly is a big one.

It's only 121 pro teams that AMERICANS see as sports. We don't watch soccer, and although I guess MLS is "MAJOR LEAGUE", who really cares? Again it's only between NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL.

Yeah, this is bogus... the Nuggets go from horrible to decent, same with the Marlins. Granted they are doing better but does their franchise really get THAT much better? The fans taking the survey must not be doing that great of a job. Yeah, the Diamondbacks have a wonderful owner, but the Suns' owner is like 50th... again SAME OWNER!! But in that case I guess it's true, he is a much better baseball owner, seeing how he can spend all the money he wants. So perhaps Marlin fans don't think the stadium is a good baseball stadium [IMG]

I'm somewhat surprised that the Pistons are ranked so high, and ahead of the Red Wings. Probably because the Joe's such a hunk of crap. Anyway, I like the categories they used, and someone must have spent a really, really, really long time putting all those team bios together. Can't argue with Atlanta at the bottom, can't argue with the Spurs at the top.

Spurs best franchise in sports???? Nah, just because they champions, everybody puts in they vote for the Spurs. Maybe if they said best team in basketball, or something, even that I don't agree on, but best franchise in all of sports? Yankees? Patriots? Come on now people

what do you mean how can they be the best?
Patriots- two Superbowl rings in three years and more to come

Yankees- been to 39 World Series, won 26 of them

    I rest my case
