<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">While Iverson provided most of the drama on Tuesday night, it was a surprise visit from former coach Larry Brown at PCOM on Wednesday that caused a stir among the media.

Although it may seem odd that an active NBA coach would come and visit his former team during a practice, the Sixers insisted that Brown's visit was not that unusual.

"He's always in town and we've always talked," Ayers said. "That's nothing new to us. A lot of the times we just talk strategy and personnel. The same thing I talked to coach about for six years we talked about today. Coach has been a good friend and mentor. It's not surprising to me. It's nothing out of the ordinary to be around coach during the middle of the season."

People don't realize how important a coach is...they do really change how you play..how you execute your offense/defense where to be in a situation..and specially how to close out a game.

Im glad to see Brown "Saying Hello" around...Im sure if he was still the sixer's coach the sixers could've been a top 4 team in the eastern conference.

Larry Brown left Iverson his number and told him to call him. Interesting...

This has more to do with him seeing his family than anything else.

It's good to see Larry visiting the Sixers now, as they are playing so poorly. He probably just was visiting the family, and seems as if Ayers could use some pointers.

I don't think so. Simply because injuries are what have caused our downfall so far. So many guys being injured and us not getting the chance to play together, has hurt our chemistry. I don't think what we're lacking is "heart," but chemistry, we have only seldom pulled together as a team to get the W.
