<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">While Iverson provided most of the drama on Tuesday night, it was a surprise visit from former coach Larry Brown at PCOM on Wednesday that caused a stir among the media. Although it may seem odd that an active NBA coach would come and visit his former team during a practice, the Sixers insisted that Brown's visit was not that unusual. "He's always in town and we've always talked," Ayers said. "That's nothing new to us. A lot of the times we just talk strategy and personnel. The same thing I talked to coach about for six years we talked about today. Coach has been a good friend and mentor. It's not surprising to me. It's nothing out of the ordinary to be around coach during the middle of the season." </div> Full Story.
People don't realize how important a coach is...they do really change how you play..how you execute your offense/defense where to be in a situation..and specially how to close out a game. Im glad to see Brown "Saying Hello" around...Im sure if he was still the sixer's coach the sixers could've been a top 4 team in the eastern conference.
personally i think Brown was an excellent coach...wish he would have stayed with the sixers and i agree they would have been top 4 team in the eastern conference!
lol are u trying to say brown wants iverson in detroit? could u imagine A.I. with big Ben Wallace? my goodness!!!!
It's good to see Larry visiting the Sixers now, as they are playing so poorly. He probably just was visiting the family, and seems as if Ayers could use some pointers. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMac_OwNz:</div><div class="quote_post">Im glad to see Brown "Saying Hello" around...Im sure if he was still the sixer's coach the sixers could've been a top 4 team in the eastern conference.</div> I don't think so. Simply because injuries are what have caused our downfall so far. So many guys being injured and us not getting the chance to play together, has hurt our chemistry. I don't think what we're lacking is "heart," but chemistry, we have only seldom pulled together as a team to get the W.
