    Parker,Mercer & Horry for Kidd?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">As the trade deadline quickly approaches (February 19) San Antonio may look to make a move to bolster their roster. The rumor mill has been churning with talk of the Spurs trading Tony Parker, Robert Horry and Ron Mercer to the New Jersey Nets for Jason Kidd.

?RC and Pop are always looking to improve the team and Jason Kidd is the best point guard out there today,? commented Griffin. ?When you have an opportunity to get the best players in the league it?s hard not to explore and look into that, and sometimes pull that trigger.?

Griffin encourages the Spurs stay focused on their ultimate goal.</div>

I don't want Parker to go....he can be real good as time goes by. He does not even hog the ball anymore. So his stats aren't better then his previous season, big deal, he can improve. People saw his change in attitude, it'll be good for the Spurs yes. Maybe even add a little flash, but how would any player being traded feel? Doesn't Kidd like the players in NJ?

As I mentioned in the Nets forum

This was the kind of trade that was mentioned in the off-season for NJ to get something back for Kidd, nothing came of it.

Kidd is not the answer for the Spurs, A slasher, scorer or another post player aka Jermaine O'Neal/Elton Brand is what the Spurs really need to repeat as champions.
