You don't pressure D the other team and miss your freethrows, you lose. Cavs just missed last 3 freebies.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Just-Magic:</div><div class="quote_post">They need to know how to finish in the last quarter.Thats what the cav need to improve.</div> That's not something you can go out and buy, that takes experience, and our key players are too young for that right now.
Wolves win 103/92 KG had 35, 12, and 1 Boozer had 17, 9, and 2 James had 14, 9, and 5 Spre had 24, 3, and 7 No perimeter defense, no pressure at all, we just let the Wolves do what ever they wanted in the half court set. Too much one on one again, this is starting to drive me crazy, run some playes people! Box Score

what a game by KG how he can play so well blows my mind, but it ferther proves he deserves the MVP award.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting redscoon:</div><div class="quote_post"> I think we'll keep it close for 3 quarters, but Lebron will wear down eventually and the Wolves 3 headed monster will just be too much for us. Wolves by 12.</div> Damn, I'm good. Cavs were living on borrowed time the first 3 quarters. They really were playing no defense at all. The Wolves could get anything they wanted, when they wanted it. As long as our jumpers were falling, we could keep it close, but once our offense stumbled, we had no chance. We had nobody to match up with Garnett. We did a decent job making him shoot jumpers, but they were falling, so we were screwed. Our rebounding was very poor. Too many 2nd chances given up. Good teams are going to capitalize on them every time. Missed free throws...this is a familliar story. Lebron didn't really seem to be in the game offensively. Lately its been 35 one game, 15 the next. I'd like to see a little more consistency out of him. I was sitting there with 10 minutes to go in the 4th thinking to myself, "I can't believe Hoiberg hasn't been killing us." No sooner did that cross my mind, he promptly hung 8 quick ones on us and it was over. We are a very bad perimeter defensive club. I'm surprised they didn't hit more 3s than they did. Was it just me or did Ervin Johnson commit about 15 fouls in this game? Every other possession he was hammering someone and the whistle would blow, yet he only had 3 or 4 called on him. We didn't get much respect from the refs against a good team. Cassell steamrolled over Mcinnis a couple of times and we didn't get a call, Garnett mugged Boozer at the rim a couple times also. I think those non calls and some cheapies on Boozer took him out of the game. I didn't expect us to win this one, but we gave ourself a chance. Still disappointed in our 4th quarter execution. We have to win tomorrow, if we are a playoff team, we can't afford anymore extended losing streaks.

Those were a joke.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Carlos Boozer, an important part of the Cavaliers' improvement over the past month, was held to 17 points and nine rebounds. He missed two difficult dunks in the third quarter. James had a quiet night, too, shooting 6-for-18 from the field under heavy pressure from Sprewell and Trenton Hassell. James airballed a 3-pointer and missed two free throws in the final three minutes. Garnett, this generation's preps-to-pros pioneer, challenged James on a one-on-one fast break in the third quarter -- altering the rookie's layup and drawing an offensive foul on the 19-year-old. "I'm glad that he came, and I'm glad that I'm here," James said, alluding to Garnett entering the draft out of Chicago's Farragut Academy in 1995. "He's amazing to me," James said. "He knows I'm getting better and he keeps getting better. But if he keeps getting better, oh Lord, he's taking over the league."</div> Full Story
I find it funny how people post their thoughts in the loser's forum rather than the Wolves forum. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">This game will not be a blowout, book it.</div> Well, 11 isnt close either. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">other than just take someone one on one (something he should be more stubborn with)</div> Since when does Garnett pass out of a one on one advange he has? This comment is really retard. Garnett passes the ball because he is constantly doubled and even tripped. Did you see the game against the 76ers on ESPN? Where Garnett had those behind in the back passes 2 trips in a row to the center after he was doubled.
You know what I meant in both cases. Many called a blowout meaning from the start till the end, which was not the case. You know that though, no need to explain (Don't twist that around either, lol) Who would not like to see KG be more aggressive? That's all I was saying. I won't comment on why they post here more, hehe.
