The Boston Celtics are coming in with a below .500 record as are the 76ers, however there is one huge difference between the two. Boston has lost five games in a row, and hopes to regain their confidence with a win in Philadelphia. Philadelphia has also been on some kind of slide as well, though their won over the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night was phenomenal. The team pulled together, as they have not done in a while to get the W. Boston's losing streak somewhat is because of the absence of Raef LaFrentz, their superstar center. Without Raef the Celtics are really limited on the defensive front, same cna be said for the Sixers. They are without power forward/center Derrick Coleman who is scheduled to be out for six weeks, and center Marc Jackson who is slowly recuperating, and will be coming back shortly. The Sixers still continue on to be without center Todd McCulloch, but have enough defensive pressure in Samuel Dalembert, Kenny Thomas, and Zendon Hamilton.

    <div align="center">[IMG]</div>

What the Sixers need to do to win this game, and others along the road, is to pull together as a team. Five guys as one. Allen Iverson went public on Tuesday criticizing his team, for their lack of "heart and toughness," and he had every right to do so. The Sixers have of late not played as a team, and have not shown much "love for the game." Every single guy needs to contribute in the game, if your shot isn't falling, then rely on the rebounds, if your rebounds aren't going well, rely on the assists, and so on. Every part of the game has to be top notch in order for the Sixers to turn around this display of play.

On Thursday, it seemed as if Iverson's comments were heard, loud and clear. Every one on the Sixers squad stepped up, Allen had an explosive game with thirty nine points, Glenn contributed his usual twenty something's with twenty seven, and even Eric Snow played good, with ten points, and seven assists. For the Sixers to get this W, this is what we need to do, pull together, execute, and defend.

Defense. That will be a major part in the result of this game. Paul Pierce, and Ricky Davis need to be shut down, as they are both fast-paced, explosive scorers that can create for themselves. Tough defense by Allen and Glenn will need to be applied.

    <div align="center">[IMG]</div>

    <div align="center">[IMG] [IMG]</div>

P Double vs. The Answer. A high octane, explosive, one on one show. Both players are known to play really great games around each other, and this will be no different. Allen Iverson needs to contribute like he did last night against the Los Angeles Lakers for this to be a great matchup. I belive that Paul Pierce will try and do the same, scoring early points, and trying to get a streak going is his specialty. Tune in folks!

Eric Snow. I believe that his success equals team success. I have noticed, that whenever we have Eric playing well, the team as a whole plays well. Whenever he isn't playing well, we're not. This has been the case for a lot of games this season, he has not stepped up as he has the previous years. His shot has not been falling as good, and he has gotten mad at himself and has started passing the ball more, which is where the wrongdoing occurs. He needs to shoot as well as pass, we all know that he has a great shot, once it starts falling, it's on!

It's gonna be tough to call. I'm not so sure yet. I say it's going to go down to the very end. Perhaps into OT. But in the end, the Sixers will take it by 3.

Let's hope KT plays. He left the game last night with a ankle sprain.

Let's hope. Let's force them to wear those retro uniforms and headbands.

Poor Kenny Thomas... he chose NOT to wear the headband. And what happened to him? Sprained ankle.

By the way you guys, the game is at Philadelphia, not Boston. Just a heads up. Sasha said he'd change it when he gets the chance.[IMG]

Celtics demolished the sixers. This should give some confidence for the upcoming games for the Celtics.
