I seriously think he could beat Peja. He has such a quick release! He should have been in it form the beginning. Now he's in! No link yet, sorry...Saw it on CSN reported by Derrick Gunn.
those two will be a good shooutout. I had peja as a lock before but now it's a toss up. will be a good one!!.
holy CRAP!? is this official?! EDIT: It IS official! From ComcastSportsNet.com: Elsewhere, rookie Kyle Korver has been named as the replacement for Sonics guard Brent Barry in next Saturday's three-point shootout at the Staples Center. The All-Star game is on Sunday.
Kyle might give Peja some competition, but I think Peja might come out on top. But hey you never know..
The only way Korver loses is if he gets nervous and loses his stroke. He has a better shot and definitly a faster release than Peja....
Right. He's not as good as Peja, sorry. He's still going to lose. I knew Sixer fans would go insane when they found it. Well, 3 pointers are all he can do, so why not?
Wow, we have a kid who plays 10 minutes a game going up against the winner of the last two years, and still manages to shoot the three-ball above 40% despite playing about 25-30 minutes more a game, and we're talking about him beating Peja? <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Arthur:</div><div class="quote_post">The only way Korver loses is if he gets nervous and loses his stroke. Faster release won't matter either, Peja has finished the racks comfortably in the last two seasons when he's won it.
Great experience and chance for Korver for some cheers and props. However I wish Redd or Allen went, Reggie too, even TMac, he's a really great three point shooter as well if you ask me. It'll look like a good one though....I'm curious, sorry if I seem blank to you guys, are there limits for entry to the various contests, events and competitions?
Redd is a pressure shooter. Allen is injured. Reggie isn't one to make them in volumes, and McGrady isn't a great one - just decent. He chucks a lot, like Baron Davis does now, but not as bad.
Let's hope Korver gets his shot back. He's been 0-11 on all his shots for the past 3 games or something like that.
Peja is not going to lose.. Even that, Korver is not going to win.. I like the guys future too, but right now he is no match for Peja.. Theres something about Peja's shot that he just makes it go in.. You can talk about Korver having a quick release.. But let's all face it.. Peja is the outright best Three Point Shooter in this contest..
