As you know there have been alot of Maverick Lineups. But out of all of them which one do you think is most efficicent?

Me I think this one is:

    PG: Nash
    SG: Finley
    SF: Dirk
    PF: Walker
    C: Bradley

    What do you think?

I think that lineup is perfect. Playing a zone with Bradley in the middle and Nowitzki playing his natural position is going to be the most effective in the playoffs.

And.........the Panthers didn't get owned, they were right there with the Patriots until that stupid punt

That line-up is perfect for zone D. three big men, Dirk,Walker, and Bradley guarding the laane.

I know Nelly prefers the smaller line up of:

    Nash, Finley, Howard, Walker, Dirk
    Nash Finley Jamison Walker Dirk

I mean if you look at the second line up they are undefeated when they use it (2-0)

    Second lineup=no defence....pure offence

Nelly seems to be in the mode of "My team can score a lot of points so we'll win". I think thats why he picked up Walker and Jamison. He wants to load up on offence and hope to outscore opponents.....and don't tell me picking up Scott Williams is a huge transaction and brings an added dimension to a team. This dude ain't even in shape yet.

The Mavs are one big man away (Someone like a Dampier) from winning the title.. until then, i would go for the bradley (zone) lineup.. but bradley gets in foul trouble easily (he is the 76ers all time foul leader, and was only there for a few seasons) :thumbsdow

I like the line up of Nash, Finley, Dirk, Walker, Bradley. With Danny Fortson coming off th bench for Bradley when he gets in foul trouble. Howard and Jamison as key guys of the bench. Dirk can move to Center if necessary aswell to allow Jamison to have more minutes.

    I like this one.

    PG: Steve Nash
    SG: Michael Finley
    SF: Josh Howard
    PF: Dirk Nowitski
    C: Shawn Bradley

These lineup gives them about as much defense as they're going to get without really sacrificing anything on offense, because they still have the big three there. Bradley is one of the all time leaders in blocks and he IS 7'6", Dirk stretches the defense, Josh Howard plays the defense, and Nash and Finley can definitely run the offense.

    PG: Steve Nash
    SG: Michael Finley
    SF: Antawn Jamison
    PF: Dirk Nowitski
    C: Shawn Bradley

I like that lineup. it seems more natural to me than to start a smaller PF like Walker and the 7foot Dirk at SF. I like the idea of bringing in a guy who is versitile and can play many positions on the floor like Walker can off the bench better. Jamison has played well off the bench all season, but that lineup fits best in my opinion.

I think Howard or Walker would be better at the 3 position in that lineup, Phreeze. The fact that Jamison does play well off the bench brings them some extra energy and instant offense. Walker and Howard, however, play well on the defensive end of the floor - somewhere the Mavericks are really lacking some skill.

I agree with this lineup. Walker can go off at times for 20+ off the bench IMO.
