Big Nasty a lip reader? Damn...this mod is talented J/K. Can you tell me what Karl Malone is saying to himself every time he goes to the foul line?

Yeah, when Bird was on fire he always was saying things like : 'Who's guarding me? No one guards me' or 'Maybe you have to guard me' <= said that one against his defenders

That's Clyde, I had to shrink it quite a bit and JK wish he could get up like that.

i think t-mac deserves mentioning. the dude is one cocky player.

i think most of the best players of all-time are quite cocky for a reason... cuz they actually believe what they're saying when they're saying it... you guys get what im talking about? like, thats what elevated them to the kinds of legends they are... because they actually believed they could do it. theres been tons of players with MJ-like physical gifts... but theres only one MJ.. and one of the reasons is because there are few who are cockier than MJ.

I was hoping to be the first to say TMac, you beat me to it. But he's not like that anymore, neither is Sheed. They seem to have lost their rather hostile nature. I wish I could say the same for K-Mart.

As for the biggest back in the day, I never knew MJ said those things. I always thought he was much like DJ or Joe Dumars, quiet and humble. Guess not, though he has so much right to be cocky.

Sir Charles and K-Mart are the ones who did it for me, as well as Shaq and GP. They seemed to have such hostility in them. Poor 'Zo, I really despise K-Mart for his comments. Teammate....yeah right.

To me there are different types of trash talking. Guys like Reggie, MJ etc would get into opponents heads, as many of the examples brought up by BN prove.

As for GP, he's up there just through pure volume of trash that comes out of his mouth. You could be up 30 and have 40 points on him, but he'll still be jawing away at you every possession. And God help rookies who go against GP.

Jordan seemed to be pure psychological warfare. He would just mentally breakdown anyone defending him.

Reggie Miller always seemed to annoy the crap outta everyone...especially Spike Lee sitting on the floor seats in NY. lol

Barkley was more of a smartass clown. He'd be cocky...but he'd make everyone laugh.

As was said...Payton just never shutup.

Shaq only seems to run his mouth in interviews or in the locker room after the game. Probably cuz he's so outta shape he doesn't have the wind to talk while he's playing.

When KG starts talking smack its the funniest thing in the world cause he starts making faces(kid gets real extra with it).

Sam doesnt really talk smack but he does talk all game long to any & everybody.

MJ the greatest smack talker because he would take you out to eat before the game & then get in your head all game long. Plus when he on the court talking smack what can you possibly say to get in his head. I remember in the 1st round of the 98 playoffs Nets vs Bulls, Kerry Kittles was lighting MJ up in the 1st half. He had at least 20.But toward the end of the 1st half KK & mj got into a friendly verbal discussion. So when both teams were walking back to the locker room for the break, a side line reporter do the game asked MJ on air what him & kittles was talking about. MJ said that he told Kittles that he wont be scoring anymore in the game. Well come second Half Kittles didnt score another basket. So when you talk smack & back it up the way MJ did, Its nothing anyone can do about. By the way Kerry Kittles was still nice at the time, this was before all the injuries.

Dennis Rodman is another great person at playing mind games, he'll total get you out of your game. He did that alot to Karl Malone in big spots during the finals in the Bulls era.

Yeah I remember that he got in Toine's head when the Wiz played the Celtics.

GP is the greatest on court trash talker of all time. I remember when he messed with Manu earlier this year. Back in 5th grade when the Sonics went to the finals he got into it with MJ as well. Gotta love the Glove.
