    1993-2003.. and what they've become.

for those who don't know yet. the naismith award is given to the top player in the country.

1993 Calbert Cheaney, Indiana NBA BUST
1994 Glenn Robinson, Purdue started ok, fell off the map
1995 Joe Smith, Maryland NBA BUST
1996 Marcus Camby, UMass no touches on offense.. "average"
1997 Tim Duncan, Wake Forest great career
1998 Antawn Jamison, UNC dallas is ruining him
1999 Elton Brand, Duke going well so far..
2000 Kenyon Martin, Cincinnati going well so far..
    2001 Shane Battier, Duke "average"
2002 Jason Williams, Duke ruined career
2003 T.J. Ford, Texas playing well thusfar..

well.. a total of 2 championships between the 11 of them.. thanks to tim duncan of course.

i'm not impressed. the decade before that, and the decade before that.. were much more impressive.

Where's Ed O'bannon...i think he won in 95...correct me if i'm wrong [IMG]

EDIT: no you're right...my bad...O'bannon won the wooden award...

Well, that's not too much of a surprise...College Hoops is a different game than NBA hoops...also, the award is usually given to jrs and seniors, and all the early entries have sucked out the talent...
