<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Magic guard Tracy McGrady said he plans on playing Sunday in a nationally televised game against the Los Angeles Lakers at TD Waterhouse Centre.

McGrady missed the last two games with upper back spasms and said he was still having mild spasms on Friday, despite continuous treatments. He sat out Wednesday night's game in Toronto against the Raptors and Friday night's game in East Rutherford, N.J., against the Nets.</div>
    Full Story

I don't think it matters if McGrady plays or not. Either way, the Magic still can't win ballgames. Yes, he's our much needed offense, but you have to play something called defense to even come close to winning a game. With McGrady playing, the Magic are still outrebounded, out hustled, and flat out beaten. His leadership skills aren't there and that is a consequence for everyone playing. He leads by example, which is something important, but a vocal leader is essential for a young team.

Yeah. It really doesn't even matter to me no more whether the Magic win games anymore at least this season. All we can do now is look foward to next season. If I was McGrady I'll rest as much as possible. He has a big week coming up.

Well uh...I dont think you could say his leadership is not there(vocal leader) because it has never been there...Armstrong was that guy..

well kobe is not going to play...and Sixers did something( I dont know what) to stop shaq...I think they said traffic around him? anyways that'll leave payton...Im always positive about a win even tho it does not matter much now..rest of the season is players that want to be traded to show other teams what they can do and young players to demonstrate what they can do to stay here or start..(Hunter)

Hes stupid... Kobe isnt playing, so he has nothing to prove.. Shaq is going to trample all over everyone.. And there still is Rick Fox, Devean George, and Gary Payton.. He shouldnt even bother..

Glad T-Mac could make it back to play my Lakers on Sunday. Now the Lakers will only win by 20. [IMG]

Just playin, was in the middle of my preview and didn't know if he was starting or not, thanks for the post. Should be a fun one to watch with Mcgrady in the lineup though.

Actually, no he's in the game right now and is murdering the Lakers. He was listed as "questionable" but came back at halftime.

What a shot by Rick Fox. Tied the game. Then Derek Fisher stole the balll and gave it to GP for a lay-up with 4.1 seconds left. The Magic need to learn how to get T-Mac the ball in crunch time.

Great game by Luke Walton, Derek Fisher and entire second group for LA . Hopefully this sparks them. What a great pass by Luke b/n the legs . Great great pass. Great game. Microcosm of the Orlando Magic season.

T-Mac showed some real heart coming back and playing. The Magic are now 13-40 . THey hadnt lost 40 games last year till April 16th

That's what I was wondering. He played so well in the first half vs Shaq, then I don't even noticed Zaza for the rest of the game. McGrady was setting him up for easy baskets, and he playing tough on Shaq, as well as hitting the boards. Don't know why Declercq got all those minutes, Shaq backed him down easily, and he gives no offensive production.

We might as well deal Zaza so he can be really good somewhere else. We don't want to give Declerq any competition.

Because. They are partners. You didn't know. But that really pisses me off. Coming from a 13 year old that's BIG.

easy...zaza was in foul trouble..and JD hates Hunter..thats the only reasonable reason that Hunter never plays.
