<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">In the latest Lakers' injury curse, point guard Gary Payton gashed his calf on a glass table in a Boston hotel room. The injury did not require stitches, however, and Payton was not only able to play against the Cavs last night, but went for a season-high 30 points with six assists, four boards, and two blocks. When the media asked him to compare his injury with teammate Kobe Bryant's, he told the Orange County Register: "I'm not into that. I'm good. There's nothing wrong with me."</div> Full Article: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=fanb...nball&type=lgns Laker players need to stay away from glass.
That happened like 3 days ago, he played on it that game when he had 30 points. He said it was no big deal.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting bhsn4life:</div><div class="quote_post">the lakers and glass are not a good match, whos next? will fisher sum how fall through a glass table?</div> Yep, and break his leg somehow.
yep and the whole team will go and help and all get cut by glass. lol. but to be serious, the laker palyers need tostay away from glass, we don't need any more injurys.
hmm now that you think about it .. how are all the lakers going to be near a glass table .. huh.. I heard they were all in Shaq's mansion in Orlando hahah..hope theres not a lot of glass around the house.
The only glass I want to see breaking around the Lakers are champagne glasses after winning a ring, hopefully it comes true.
of course men it's still possible this is just a friggin glass and scott williams curse... but the lakers will get it together in the end!!! right now we just gotta bear the curse together and strong. What's next, curse? phil slipped on a wet floor and injured his back? bring it on!!!
After these recent injuries involving glass, i'm sure the Lakers have baby-proofed the locker rooms . I'm glad that Payton is good to go, because i'm looking forward to seeing him play when the Lakers make the trip to Miami on February 10th.
