<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">In the latest Lakers' injury curse, point guard Gary Payton gashed his calf on a glass table in a Boston hotel room. The injury did not require stitches, however, and Payton was not only able to play against the Cavs last night, but went for a season-high 30 points with six assists, four boards, and two blocks. When the media asked him to compare his injury with teammate Kobe Bryant's, he told the Orange County Register: "I'm not into that. I'm good. There's nothing wrong with me."</div>

That happened like 3 days ago, he played on it that game when he had 30 points. He said it was no big deal.

The only glass I want to see breaking around the Lakers are champagne glasses after winning a ring, hopefully it comes true.

After these recent injuries involving glass, i'm sure the Lakers have baby-proofed the locker rooms :P.

I'm glad that Payton is good to go, because i'm looking forward to seeing him play when the Lakers make the trip to Miami on February 10th.
