Have you guys notice that? It says that when Ray shoots the ball it wobbles. When Peja shoots,he leans to his left and his hands goes right.
I've noticed Peja since the first time I saw him shoot. I use to try and mock his shot. Very noticable how his right hand goes down. Never noticed Ray Ray though. Hmmm, but Ray is smooth though. I have terrible form, can't keep my elbows in to save my life. Don't know what happened, I could shoot like anybody before, started dunking and gave myself a huge mental block with formation. Anyways, there shots aren't ugly.
Peja has a unique shot, but he has one of the best ball rotations I've seen. But it works for Peja and he's consistent with it so maybe he knows something the so called "experts" don't. I've never noticed a knuck-ball rotation from Ray Allen either. I think he has one of the quickest releases though. I'll have to make a trip to the rental store and check out "He Got Game," again. The player I remember having a knuckle-ball shot was Tim Hardaway. He had one of the most unorthodoxed shots than I can remember. And speaking of Warriors and shooting techniques, anyone remember Purvis Short's rainbow shots?
A lot of great shooters have really weird releases. Reggie Miller is a good example of this. You just have to find something that works for you.
saw this article and i was thinking of posting it i also think peja's form is awkward like that guy said he looked like he's drunk shooting the ball but that's even making peja unstoppable... but i didn't really notice ray's rotation... gotta see it more next time...

We can't talk because they seem to go in pretty consistently, but that looks like a horrible shooting form, though the spin rotation of the ball looks sweet. Peja's shot is also very strange, and has a nice rotation on the ball as well, you can even see it the second he releases it, but these shooters obviously know something we don't. I like Ray Allen's shot, it's a smooth, quick release. I actually picked up some shooting technique's from watching him play.

He had one of the most unorthodoxed shots than I can remember.</div> he also had that weird upper body motion when he shot a pull up jumper, especially from the three, his legs will go forward and his upper body will kind of bend at the waist. but the shots will go in. two things about redd's shot, he releases really quick and his shots are either on the flat side or go high arc. at least i noticed that the couple times i watched buck's games.
yeah I always noticed Peja's shot technique...more like a fling than a shot...reggie of course has that quirky follow-thru...never really paid attention to allen, altho he is cash money...there are very few pure shooters who have flawless form, such as a Steve Kerr or Mark Price...even Dale Ellis had a fling to his jump shot...but whatever gets it in the basket....
